Let's have a poll 🤔

Poll Nr. 165,344,101.

And while you all poll and OP continues looking at what is wrong with the sim, I am enjoying my MSFS 2024, doing flights to the airports I am buying along the way. Currently: LOWW, LPMA, LFMN, LOWI, EHAM, LEIB, LDDU. Planning Mykonos and Corfu maybe. And when I land at least twice on each of those airports, I will move to Australia and NZ, just to enjoy further scenery. After that USA. No bugs that I can see.  Works all well with Fenix. No crashes. Beautiful skies, great land-scenery, awesome real-time weather. Great approaches in bad weather. Dang it, never had so much fun just doing flights.

Just for the completeness of my post, other addons: Volanta, Navigraph, Simbrief, BeyondATC, GSX.

Oh yea, did I mention the ability of the sim to immerse one fully, even in cruise, which can be fast and automatic if I wish it so.

I only fly 2024 now. It still needs cleaned up but it suits my flying well.

Yeah, same here. It still needs some work to be sure and shouldn't have been released in the state that it was in. But, I have no regrets about my purchase or uninstalling 2020 on day 1. It will continue to improve.

I was an Alpha Tester on 2020 and the majority of us told them that it wasn't ready for release. I guess if they waited until it was perfect, we'd still be flying FSX.

I will not be paying a cent to Msobo while

I, as so many of my fellow simmers, couldn't care less where or when you don't or do spend your money. All the negative comments, whether justified or not, have been extensively discussed in this forum. It is, imho, time that all that negativity and bashing FS2024 has to come to an end. Or do complaint about FS2024 where it might have any affect and that is at Microsoft or Asobo.

Just my $0,02

I'd like to annnounce to the Avsim community that I, Paul K, will be purchasing MSFS2024 today.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

...and I hereby declare the weather today for buggy cause sun is shining and disturbing my sim session. and I will not spent a further cent on it. Actually I want a refund as the weather outside is not matching my expectations.

Just a highly theoretical question... if we would not answer to these actual nonsense posts nobody is interested in... no reply, no reaction... would they just disappear in a small blue logic cloud puff and we actually wouldn't need to waste time on these people and their then gone posts?

On the other hand if I actually see a thread like this one here I usually ignore the OPs post itself and just start reading the replies. They are mostly fun and entertaining.

Sim life is really hard nowadays...

It's actually very easy to put a user on an ignore list and have them disappear forever. I've done quite a bit of that in the last few weeks. Those small handful of users never had anything constructive or interesting to add to any conversation so won't be missed and the forums are so much nicer without them.

Couldn't agree more.

These types of threads have become hilarious to read!

Keep them coming I have been seeing them since release when 2024 was actually tough to enjoy.

Since then it's improving.

With 2025 just around the corner, I hope to see this policy strengthened in the New Year to enhance the overall value of the knowledge base in the AVSim forum.
