I think it might be a bug. I believe it's supposed to support the 750/650.

  • I’ve updated five of my TBM 850 repaints to make them compatible with the MSFS 2024 version. I’ve also added painted registration numbers this time. https://flightsim.to/liveries/black-square-tbm

  • I think you need to install the default 2020 TBM.   -B

  • The TBM 850 only uses the tb930 exterior sounds, apart from that it's all from scratch including the model.

Oh darn!  A stack would be far better since Crossfill works.

I guess this is a patched up version of the steam overhaul package right? I'll be patiently awaiting the new professional versions of the developer's aircraft.

Cheers, Bert

No. The TBM850 was/is a completely new aircraft. It was the first ground up aircraft BlackSquare produced.

I hesitate to say it’s one of their best as the standard they set is so high everything is excellent but the TBM850 compliments the Dukes perfectly.

Two of my favorite GA of all time are the BS Duke and TBM 850

Thanks much Tim.

just to be clear: it IS a standalone version.
You don't have to copy sounds from default etc. simply install and ready.
But the sounds do internal point to the default TBM.

I think you meant in in an other way, but I just wanted to make it clear to avoid misunderstandings

The sounds do indeed 'point' to the default TMB930 but to be clear, the installation adds around 30 new WAV files, specific to the '850.

So you're not just getting the sounds from the default TBM930, you're getting those as a base, with quite a lot of additional custom sounds.

I feel like Nick said a TBM custom sound set would be created at some point, but I'm not sure.  He is working on a lot of new titles at the moment and Boris is his sound guy.  With the Cessna Caravan, Bonanza and Baron, it's a lot of create and update.
