Yeah the note says nothing about MSFS

Thanks, so no need to install this for MSFS in contrast to what this guy claims. Thanks for pointing this out.

While not present any more, there seems to have been a note that might have indicated, there might be other games impacted. See here:

"NOTE: May also address issues with some other games that were unstable with R565 (565.xx/566.xx) drivers"

Not claiming anything, just posting results of bit of googling. (and yes, I know, Snowdrop engine, blah blah... ).

i can say say from my end definite improvement (2024) in smoothness with this driver , no question about it , not mind blowing but better for sure over the last one . make sure you clean out the cache first though before installing , i backed up my rolling cache and deleted that as well, so far so good

New drivers so rarely ever mention anything about MSFS yet how many users dive onto the newest version as soon as possible? At least IslandSimPilot got a benefit from these ones with very much reduced stutters from the 566.36.

I updated to the hotfix driver, did a before/after comparison, and got pretty much the same results. The numbers are a bit better with 566.36, especially in terms of 1% low average FPS. So overall I don't think there's any significant improvement in smoothness from upgrading to the hotfix driver.

Using an inversed version of the old saying: "Time is money" I simply buy well-performing hardware and never look back. I have never used any of the Auto-This, Auto-That offerings available since I don't need them - I just go flying!
