Thanks

I installed it last fall - the install finished normally with no errors and system seemed to work OK.

Next time I booted the system up from a power off state - got stuck in the dreaded BSOD (BlacK screen of death) after BIOS tried to hand the system over to windows.

I have been an OS professional for over 50-years and have installed and reinstalled every version of windows.  NOTHING I did would resolve the issue.  I could boot to DOS and do all my scans and DSIMS but could not get windows 1124H2 to run - not even in safe mode with no network.

Finally had to do a complete reinstall of Windows from my old USB and then go thru all the updates.

Win 11 24H2 is a scary prospect for me.

And... somehow parts of my MSFS 2020 system on the C drive (windows drive) were corrupted and had to be reinstalled.

Ill have to revert back myself.

After not seeing any reported problems here over the past 1+ month, I finally installed it two days ago.   Subsequently, I did a 2.5 hour flight (KEWR-KSRQ), did not have any availability or performance problems (MSFS2020).

I sincerely hope Windows gives us a new update like 23H2.  My TDS planes (in P3d) will not work with this 24H2 update and they have done something wrong with this version.  I haven't noticed any big differences in MSFS although there probably have been some.  I'm sure Microsoft  realizes it by now.

You can only revert back if your update was installed within a 10 day period.  Otherwise, the revert back choice is greyed out.

My Nvidia driver is 533.36.  Those of you who are not having any problems with the Windows 11 update, what is your driver?
