No hard dates but NVIDIA releases the 5090 and DLSS4 on January 31st. NVIDIA marketing said both versions of MSFS will be day 1 compatible with DLSS4. So, 1, either we get a patch for that separately, 2, it’s rolled into SU1 for release that day or 3, Asobo/MS again fall on their face and miss the day 1 release they worked out with NVIDIA and we don’t see it for MSFS until February or March. I’m going with 3. Eric

Meanwhile in the VR world users are extremely annoyed, as we should be, plenty of angry voices on youtube comments, social media, discord etc after MShoddybo dropped the ball on friday. Seeing as Asobo still haven't filled two important UI positions since summer last year that might suggest why they suck so much with UI related issues, especially the VR UI ones. No excuse though, it's amateurism plain & simple. January 19, 20251 yr I did an amazing flight this morning with the default Cirrus Vision Jet, from Faro, Portugal, to Bourdeaux, France. Just after sunrise, with the sun peeking over the horizon. Amazing atmospehrics. Visually, this sim is so much better than MSFS 2020. Performance was great. Using BATC with Traffic on. So, two double thumbs up for MSFS 2024.
January 19, 20251 yr I’m going to piggy back off this post because I don’t think my question warrants an entire topic, but have the runway lights been toned down in 2024? Are they still on and visible during the day?

January 20, 20251 yr I think for me the key to enjoy 2024 right now is to only fly the iniBuilds A300 and Fenix A320. I haven't tried the other ini default Airbuses in 2024 yet, so maybe those are working too. Free flight only, no ATC. Then it's enjoyable. Today I tried to fly the 747 Dreamlifter. I understand it doesn't have an APU. So how in the world do I start it when I can't call for an ASU using ATC Ground Support menu??? I ragequit in frustration.
