I have no problem experimenting with this. And THANK YOU for your help. Not a typo. I messed up my keyboard control assignments by selecting the MSFS 2020 "Traversal" control set under General controls in settings. I fixed it by resetting the sim as described. I went into controls and created a duplicate profile of the MSFS 2024 "Traversal" and then set duplicate to be the default profile. That's the only one I am changing from now on. I will NEVER select that 2020 traversal option again. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

I "assumed" and I am very good at making an a** of myself naturally so don't often need help that also meant iFly, PMDG and others may have had what they needed to at least begin to troubleshoot their planes in 2024. Has anyone heard anything from either of them? Not sure what other devs were also waiting on the WASM tools or if anyone else has said anything along these lines... WASM planes are flying left and right (Avro RJ and Inibuilds). Some vendors just are faster and some are not. WASM tool don't seem to be limiting factor.

I just realized that in my post, I said that you had to uninstall and re-install the sim in my post. You do not. Just do what is in the spoiler and those instructions will allow you to get MSFS2024 to it's original fresh install state. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

You’re joking, right? 🤣 They prioritized making money over their customers by releasing 2024 way too early. And in turn, demoralized their employees by all of the negative backlash from the user base, not to mention totally splitting up the flight sim community in the process. Yeah, Microsoft knows exactly where its priorities are as they are the ones calling the shots, not Asobo. Edited January 19, 20251 yr by Gulf76

The sim is just not finish, even taking into account the "dynamic nature" of software development nowadays. Absolutely! The question is WHO forced them to release it in Nov 2024? Will not be surprised if Asobo leave the MSFS business pretty soon.
