Not a typo. I messed up my keyboard control assignments by selecting the MSFS 2020 "Traversal" control set under General controls in settings.

I fixed it by resetting the sim as described. I went into controls and created a duplicate profile of the MSFS 2024 "Traversal" and then set duplicate to be the default profile. That's the only one I am changing from now on. I will NEVER select that 2020 traversal option again.

WASM planes are flying left and right (Avro RJ and Inibuilds). Some vendors just are faster and some are not. WASM tool don't seem to be limiting factor.

I just realized that in my post, I said that you had to uninstall and re-install the sim in my post. You do not. Just do what is in the spoiler and those instructions will allow you to get MSFS2024 to it's original fresh install state.

You’re joking, right? 🤣 They prioritized making money over their customers by releasing 2024 way too early. And in turn, demoralized their employees by all of the negative backlash from the user base, not to mention totally splitting up the flight sim community in the process. Yeah, Microsoft knows exactly where its priorities are as they are the ones calling the shots, not Asobo.

They are French, they follow French labor laws even if they were Microsoft employees located in France.

It's funny when you work for a global company and your EU counterparts take their summer break while we keep working.

Absolutely! The question is WHO forced them to release it in Nov 2024? Will not be surprised if Asobo leave the MSFS business pretty soon.

Alternative history: Asobo and Microsoft announce they are delaying the release of MSFS 2024 'til Spring 2025 due to tester feedback. 

Result: Pitchforks at Walmart sold out in 3 seconds.

For users that have so much anger for MSFS, i would suggest a different gaming product , its called FIFA 2024.

With this attitude they fit better on this environment.

 

I’ve hidden a couple of posts where bad language has escaped the swear filter. I suggest those feeling anger take some time out and take a chill pill.

you mean FC24 and yes I'm currently powering my way through League Two with Barrow FC, whilst also enjoying the delights of Hogwarts Legacy (Broom Flight physics surprisingly good, not sure how real they are though!
