I'm really glad to see that they've figured out the Vram bug relatively quickly. SU2 can't get here soon enough!

This really hurts... SU2, really?

What ignorance is this?  I, like many, have been successfully using 2024 since a week after release.

Main problems like VRAM Performance problems are planned for SU2 which is god know when and LOD problems are still under investigation?! Main two problems for FS2024. I am not touching this sim for a

I am happy with news. Glad they continue to support this buggy game. It can only be better.

they've probably already locked down everything they're fixing for SU1 as to not cause anymore issues.

It still happens anytime if you have flown the aircraft i.e. taken off and landed, and have used SimBrief integration.

If you just spawn in an IniBuilds aircraft and then exit, it does not happen.

apparently, as long as you don't use the 'INT REQ' function the sim won't freeze. So you'll either need to type in the flight plan manually, or download the PLN file into the flightplan folder and import it with the FROM/TO box.

The flight controls settings not being saved should be a hotfix, yet it's not even listed on their site.

They thought it was just a hardware limitation at first until people with beefy graphics cards indicated that they were having the issue too. I know SU 1 would have been better but I'm glad they've identified a fix and have designated an update for it.

That's it they can get to word not allowed, VR fixes now "planned"for SU2 is absolutely appalling, no other way to describe it, word not allowed 'em.

I'm genuinely surprised by how little a priority VR gets. It is very broken at the moment in 2024.

Completely underwhelmed. They were saying something like SU1 will bring many fixes. Doesn't seem like it.

Just out of interest I'd love to know what SU1 did for MSFS2020. Does anyone have a record of that?

From the official announcement: The items listed on the Bug Report and Wishlist are the top 24 as voted by members of the community on our official forums. These do not represent everything the dev team is currently working on, and Sim Updates 1 and 2 will include other fixes and improvements not listed among the top 24 on the Feedback Snapshot. How 'doesn't it seem like it'?

Cheers, Bert

Other than trying to stir the pot how is that relevant to this conversation?  Don't complain about 2020 users jumping into 2024 threads and then go and drag 2020 it into completely unrelated  2024 threads when you think you can use it to make a point...

This thread is about 2024 SU1 NOT another mine is better than yours contest

I'm still waiting for them to push the fixes to the Albatross.

That's work that someone else did for them and they still can't get it done. Really makes them look incompetent.

Unfortunately, it is so obvious.

747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

Nothing instils confidence here.  I'm a happy camper with MSFS2020 and I don't expect to reinstall MSFS2024 for quite some time at this rate.

I have the feeling that they should have delayed de release date 3 to 6 months. The sim is just not finish, even taking into account the "dynamic nature" of software development nowadays.
