No offense to Raul but FS Reborn isn’t at the same tier as PMDG

No, in some respects not, we';re not comparing apples with apples here.  Raul is a one man team and PMDG aren't.  Raul has only been in the aircraft game for a few years, and PMDG have been around for a lot longer.  But, have PMDG got their aircraft into 2024 on day one fully compatible?  Have PMDG pioneered the introduction of immersivity like birdstrikes?  I'd echo Chris's comments above, in that I see every single day @simbols commitment to excellence, support, accuracy and fidelity, to a level I'd argue matches PMDG from any perspective.   I saw what went into getting ready for the 2024 launch, and I take my hat off to Raul and the team for everything that went into that.  he engages with MS and Asobo openly and engagingly, there's no bashing in private forums, he finds a problem, he fixes it, and doesn't hide behind proprietary fixes for competitive advantage.   A tier above, I'd argue, on some levels 😄

They didn't fix squat when it comes to cameras... I am just having way more issues than ever. Tried to set up different aircraft, and virtually all my camera keys are going crazy, moving me backwards in the cabin...

Different devs are facing different hurdles with the platform.

Yet the devs I mentioned *are* on the platform. I never made any claims about it being a seamless experience, That is the purpose of the SDK forums, however your original comment made it out to be that PMDG being an in-sim aircraft developer prevented it from functioning on FS24.

People keep using this "It works on Xbox" argument without really understanding what it means.

This is a pretty poor slight at Raul but moving along. Is A2A or Leonardo not in these leagues either?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I do wish we could have a bit less of the white knighting in here

Its fine you like something but insisting that others will surely feel the same is the height of arrogance

Nope. I was replying to someone who said that PMDG wasn’t using the SDK, so therefore that’s they they aren’t in 24 yet. It would be so cool if people actually read what I’m saying instead of getting mad for interrupting the PMDG term not allowed.

Good for you and your colleagues.
I wish you luck.

Looks like they fixed the custom views getting messed up when changing planes. Guess we won't need to restart the sim anymore if we want to fly another plane.

My bad, this seemed to be fixed but it isn't...

Difficult to tell, can’t see any signs of you or anyone else insisting that others will surely feel the same.

Add me to this as well! I know Raul, I know his engagement, knowledge and excellent quality of work. He raises the bar as much as possible and goes beyond what MSFS has to offer (Recall the Parachute at Sting!!).

Raul does this besides his full time Job AND Family. He is a one of a kind man, with a one of a kind heart and one of a kind passion for his products. He dreams something, then he creates it!

THATS Raul and he is far far above PMDG or any other developer I know! Just great!

And no, he does NOT pay me or asked me to post.....It´s just my deep respect for a person he is!

In terms of complexity, the 777 is in a different league of product - that’s what I mean. I’m not questioning his dedication to customer support.

I am not sure if that is really the case! The depth FSReborns plane have, is remarkably and he has so many things PMDG has not (Take the EFB and Failures incl. Wear and Tear). PMDG does also have this, but honestly, their EFB is a laugh! It is crappy designed, bad programmed as well (open Navigraph Charts does sometimes really bad stutters, or some in the middle of a flight reload of the Charts or "moving Map". Bad zoom steps as well).

FSReborns EFB are top notch!

And as said, PMDG is a company with more then one dev and lots of testers, while Raul is wokring allone as a dev and only has few testers, but extremely passionated and accurate users! Raul looks for quality and passioned people!

Marcus P.
