It took a week of use, many flights/attempted flights before it loaded things in properly for me. Since then, it's been all good. I was ready to ditch it, too. If you only tried the 2 or 3 days thing you mentioned, you might have given up too soon. Maybe my experience will be helpful. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

Maybe it's your prompt that's the problem, because I don't even know what you mean by "internet cache." The problem is compounded further by whatever AI you are asking, it responds with the answer, "When your home internet cache fills up and causes disconnection ...", thereby legitimizing the term "internet cache." So I have never heard of the term "internet cache," but if you are referring to MikeH99's comments, he said he flushed his DNS cache. The DNS cache is an actual thing with Windows. The DNS cache in Windows simply caches the Domain Name to IP address conversion. As you may know, a Domain Name on the internet converts to an IP address. Here is a good diagram that illustrates how the Windows DNS cache requests an IP address from the DNS server: The diagram and the full explanation of how DNS cache works can be read at: https://world.siteground.com/kb/clear-dns-cache-in-windows/#:~:text=The DNS cache is a,DNS lookup for the domain. I highly recommend reading this webpage, rather than asking AI, because this webpage is technically accurate, whereas I am dubious about the answer that the AI gave to you. At the end of the day, the internet runs on TCP/IP, and TCP/IP packets is how data/information is sent across the internet. If MSFS 2024 can cause your computer to stop receiving/sending TCP/IP packets for all applications (ie. even Chrome and Firefox stop receiving packets, not just MSFS 2024), there is probably something very wrong with your computer, router, or ISP. As for the AI's answer, I have no idea why it answered with, "When your home internet cache fills up and causes disconnection ...". A normal technical person would ask you what you mean by "internet cache" first, because they don't understand the terminology you use. Perhaps you mean DNS cache, perhaps you mean browser cache, perhaps you mean web cache, etc. I use AI myself, but I am always skeptical of the answer it provides, and I prefer AI programs that list the sources of where they obtained the answers. In this specific case, the AI should not be legitimizing the term "internet cache" because I don't think that's really a thing. If the AI were better, it probably should have explained to you that it doesn't recognize the term "internet cache" because that's not really a technical term used in the IT industry, and then it should have presented you with different types of caches related to the internet, such as DNS cache, browser cache, web cache, etc. I used Grok 3 i9-14900K / DDR6 / 4090 / 64 GB RAM

It looks like Grok 3 doesn't have a knowledge cut off date like the other AIs: https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1892567553655865732 However, AIs are known to "hallucinate" and Grok 3 seems pretty confident in the way it writes the answers. I would be skeptical of AI answers on these types of complex questions unless it has a clear source listing, and you can cross check the source. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

There are a lot of people "pushing AI" not just one, Musk is far from the father of AI or even one of the major modern players like Altman, Mustafa Suleyman or the big corporate AI pushers like Microsoft, Nvidia. IBM, Google... 2. I work in IT and if you aren't using AI in some form on a daily basis and making yourself AI aware your marketability is currently plummeting. Not to mention the AI infrastructure conversations, new DPU switches, to bury your head in the sand in terms of AI advancements is like shooting off your nose to spite your face. There are also so many forms of AI you probably have ZERO idea you are already using or being presented with... Don't want to turn this into an AI conversation but couldn't disagree more. March 12, 20251 yr So they updated the PC-12 to be more accurate to real life regarding screens. the top centre and co-pilot screens only turn on now if on external power or the engine is running. Which is going to be pain if parking somewhere with no external power option. I think MFD swap doesn't work so you can't bring the flight planner to the bottom screen. Since assigning a button to my yoke for the toolbar, I have not had any issues with the toolbar not showing up. As for the mouse not working in VR, I find that only happens once in a while, and if I exit VR and go back in, it fixes it. A small annoyance when it happens, but not a game stopper. Performace is on par with MSFS 2020. At least for me it is. SU2 is supposed to address the VR issues. Fingers crossed. Sorry this is not my experience vast difference between sims . Will say this seems Q3 as when Microsoft still allowed me to use my G2 the difference was not that great . I have logged on tried once since su1 shuddered turned off the pile of Asobo rubbish ware .
