April 23, 20251 yr A clarification here would be really nice, as I read different things about GAIST in FS2024. Some people claim it doesn't work, while other write it worked perfectly fine. best regards, Mathias
April 23, 20251 yr it works, but you have to set the time to current, as I have read somewhere. I have online traffic set to off and ships to ultra. GAIST ships begin popping up almost immediately. Best way to check is in LittleNavMap. Once the ships spawn, you can change the time and/or date.

Gaist ship routes folder and Gaist Ultra V6_1 folders in community folder Settings in MSFS2024 Under "General" Sea traffic setting to "OFF" I get plenty of traffic certainly around busy ports like Southampton Dover etc as well as lots of smaller yachts and fishing craft. LOD settings may also play a part but I'm not the best person to say what you should or shouldn't have. I've got a bit of a beast of a machine and it all works for me your mileage WILL vary. I use the Ultra setting; there's no equivalent of 2020's recommended 20%. I almost always load historical, I'm simulating real flights. Petraeus
