Most STABLE nVidia Driver in 4/2026

Featured Replies

I have tried several drivers, but I keep going back to ancient ones from about a year ago. All of the recent drivers, caused crashes in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, so I am stuck with a driver in the 500 series.

I would really like to update to something more current, but I have found it impossible thus far. Does anybody have a recommendation for a good stable studio series driver that functions without issue?

Something that was released this year would be truly wonderful.

Thank you for any guidance you can provide, it is much appreciated.

Don't know about Studio Driver but the latest Game Ready Driver hotfix 576.15 runs fine here, I'm having no problems at all with it, except that the Nvidia filters don't work. It runs much better for me than the 566.36 driver due to using DLSS4 instead of DLSS3. On my test airport I have 122 FPS with FG ON with 566.36 driver and 158 FPS with 576.15.

560.94  works great for me, I don't fix what isn't broken.

@Bobsk8 I wonder why you're posting that video, the 576.15 hotfix already fixed that temp issue.

I just had this video pop up on my Youtube feed this morning. Thought it might be of interest, if not, don't watch it.

Yeah, keep posting videos with all the bugs old drivers had and got fixed, they may be of interest to someone, lol.

You feel better now? 🤣

This would be an impossible question to answer as it really depends on your system and what else you have going on. I always upgrade to the latest within a day or two of release and have never had any issues. Just go with the one that works best for you and don't worry about what anyone else is using.

566.36 works for me in 2020 and 2024.Never had any issues. Don't plan on changing any time soon until Nvidia gets there act together.

576.02 is also good with a 3060ti and I don't use the nvidia app.
