PMDG 777-200ER Released

But they do. You believe they would redo whole new soundset when the -300 first released then they came out and said they had ported sounds. Give me a break.

So the pictures were debunked, server issues are resolved so now you've moved on to sounds??

Which they have already stated will be redone for each engine model?

What else have you got that you want to throw into the mix?  Like someone else said moving goal posts...

Hopefully you are able to get your copy now the servers are back up.

Just did my first flight. Smooth, without any hiccups. The performance is incredible, even better than some default aircraft. Nothing to complain about at the moment. Regarding someone's comments

He says PMDG wouldn't do this. I saying they do. Sounds is just a prime example people were saying they hadn't per what they had posted before. Then they actaully admitted they had. You are missing the picture.

What an enjoyable experience in 2024. Smooth as butter, everything worked the first load. It's a pretty standard PMDG plane experience, but they did a good job getting it working in 2024. Loaded in, did a quick departure and approach into KSFO...absolutely gorgeous. The lighting and cockpit lighting look really good in particular. Heat blur appears to be a bit overdone, but doesn't really bother me too much, since most of the flight will take place in the cockpit anyways. Sounds are believable, and you can definitely feel the flight model difference compared to FS2020. It feels like the first robust airliner experience in FS24. There are a few tiny little things at first glance that will eventually get ironed out (Logo lights culling at specific viewing angles in spot plane mode, some visual glitches around the windshield in spot plane while using FG). Other than that, it's been surprisingly refreshing and exciting to experience a native plane from them in the sim that just works.

Thanks for the review.  I really hope they make their Falcon LOL.  I love bizjets so I bought their 737-700 when it first came out but nothing since.  Airliners aren't my thing, but I hope it starts to boost 2024...  as most sim fans fly airliners.

No, he said they wouldn't release anything like the picture you posted and as multiple people have shown you he was right so you've now switched the conversation to sounds.

Going to install my copy now hope you enjoy yours!

Installing in 2020 first but this will be my test bed for 24

Its an example which is the same reference. Don't like facts its okay. You do protect PMDG quite a bit on numours posts. Best to say to people how it really is anyway. Enjoy. I'll wait for things to sort themselves out. You know maybe wait for that sale option :D.

FWIW, i'm not seeing the issues with the comparison photos posted earlier....in fact, i even saw the jack screw spinning when the flaps were extending, which was pretty cool.

I will definitely buy. Hoping WinWing doesn't take too long updating the 777 Cdu to work with the 777-200ER.

I just want to know how it compared to the 300 ER or even the 737.

Worth a buy or wait till the 777s get updated to 2024

That's $121 AUD to me disgraceful price.

Agreed. At $108 Canadian, I'll pass.  Will wait for the 300 ER to be released.  If I purchased the 200 now, I know I would never fly it again, once the 300 ER is released. So I will wait.  I can still get my 777 fix in FS2020 if needed.

I waited until a couple of hours ago, and purchase and installation were quick and easy. Going to see the Cubs up in Milwaukee tomorrow and Saturday, so probably won’t get to test it out until Sunday.
