May 16, 20251 yr And it finally happened to me... I opted out of the Beta before firing up the sim as I wanted to stay on SU2. It downloaded an 8.4GB update and my entire Community folder is gone and all settings reset. Just wonderful.

Luckily all settings and profiles are there, but I never had an issue with that during any previous betas or updates Just curious as to why you would use the Fenix as a starting point when testing a brand new Beta? Would you not be best to clean out your community folder and just use default aircraft and sceneries to check actual sim functionality? Edited May 16, 20251 yr by cowpatz Cheers Steve Hall

MSFS can wipe my Community Folder with each update and I just restore it with Add-on Linker in seconds. It's not a big deal if you are using Add-on Linker and you are storing your add-ons outside the MSFS folder structure. Edited May 16, 20251 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
May 16, 20251 yr the ini Builds Airbus A321LR is now called that on the UI, instead of just 'Airbus A321' They also added a KLM livery for it (I think that's new at least I could have just forgotten it was there) Edited May 16, 20251 yr by Tuskin38

Custom a/c camera and a/c state files, exe.xml, and user config with graphic settings get wiped too. All of that needs to be backed up before leaving the beta program. May 16, 20251 yr Moving community folder from the default install location should resolve the erasing contents when updating. AddOn Linker is basically doing the same thing!
May 16, 20251 yr There are generic versions of ZBAD and LTFM now edit: those may have been added with SU2 Edited May 16, 20251 yr by Tuskin38

Thanks, yeah I'm using Addon Linker but I still spent an hour reinstalling my camera profiles, startup states, overwriting the Tobii profile that was overriden (and still can't be configured in the UI), relinking AIG and GSX, reinstalling Fenix, ini A350... 43 minutes ago, Alvega said: Steam or Store?
