A2A Aerostar is now available

Because you don't use 2024?

No - it's just that I don't like the real-world aircraft itself. Plus, with the release of SU3, I'm expecting the tempo of native-FS24 conversions to rise, such as the forthcoming AzurPoly Transall. A2A can not be faulted, and I love their Comanche, but the Aerostar is a bit of an ugly duckling, IMO. That said, A2A's flight and system modelling may yet win me over. 😉

Thanks for the feedback regarding the cockpit condition. The aircraft we modeled is based on the actual Aerostar I owned and operated for several years. Our approach has always been to focus on a

I haven’t tested the Aerostar in heavy turbulence yet, but it’s on my to-do list. If anything feels off or isn’t behaving as it should, you can expect it to be addressed in the next update or shortly

Turbulence and the Aerostar: feels pretty good to me.  I'm not sure if I've ever flown an Aerostar - seems like I must have at some point - but I've spent too much time in many other similar twins.  Y

I thought that when I first got it, that it looked like a whale but it is just outstanding. The more I fly it the more I love it.

Yep - that's probably the way it'll go for me too. With certain add-on developers, resistance is futile! 😅

I don't know if you've taken the plunge yet Paul, but do yourself a favour, to paraphrase Dirty Harry "Go ahead, make your day" 😜

I've no doubt it'll happen one day, Ron - it's inevitable. Not just yet, however; as far as twins are concerned,  I'm enjoying the Albatross too much and planning some long-distance touring in that. And I've yet to really do anything with the Flysimware Chancellor either in FS20 or FS24. Once I've 'exhausted' those, I'll head to the A2A shop. 😉

By that time they'll be all sold out!

I've just watched a Jonathon Becket video about it. Looks impressive. Loads of switches to forget!

It certainly is impressive, and ideal for a RTW trip, or at least a detailed exploration of the Caribbean, Aegean or Pacific. A lovely model.

Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think the Aerostar is probably the slickest looking GA aircraft ever made. Looks fast just parked.

When you quoted me, you edited out the 'IMO' ( In My Opinion ) which followed the comma. I'm well aware that people's perceptions are different. 🙂

I'm aware it's you opinion. Mine is different. I didn't mean to "edit" out anything. Geez...

If you really love this aircraft and want to understand it better, here is an old but highly informative video.

It's these sort of responses that give AVSIM a bad name. A better one might have been "Sorry about that"

IMO of course. 😁

Hi, I have just installed V0.9.12 and fired it up. I have right clicked the power button on the tablet - but it does not attach itself to the yokel. Anyone else experienced this? - or am I missing something
