Thanks for the feedback regarding the cockpit condition. The aircraft we modeled is based on the actual Aerostar I owned and operated for several years. Our approach has always been to focus on a

I haven’t tested the Aerostar in heavy turbulence yet, but it’s on my to-do list. If anything feels off or isn’t behaving as it should, you can expect it to be addressed in the next update or shortly

Turbulence and the Aerostar: feels pretty good to me.  I'm not sure if I've ever flown an Aerostar - seems like I must have at some point - but I've spent too much time in many other similar twins.  Y

I've seen that reported as well, but I haven't seen it here either, even after some pretty long flights - except once, when I realized that the key I bound to the ATT mode when held was double-bound to something else, and I was changing myself into ATT mode without realizing it.  Next time you see this, can you make sure ALT mode is still annunciated on the autopilot panel on the forward panel?  Make sure it hasn't somehow changed to ATT.

Thanks. That fixed it. Switch off ATT and alt hold works fine.

Same here! Fantastic plane! I have been flying it a lot. But I would really love to know if A2A is going to provide the option for VR/Monitor in Advanced Options like they have in the Comanche. I discovered that the monitor renders turbulence similar to the Comanche, but it doesn’t translate as well in VR in the Aerostar. That option would make a big difference to us VR users. Now off to fly with the update!

I use FSUIPC and a rocker switch on my yoke. One part of the switch is assigned to STEERING_INC the other part is STEERING_DEC

Both of those are assigned to STEERING_SET on release.

If you using the sim's controls they're the same but you need to assign another button to STEERING_SET (unless there's a way of doing the 'On release' thing.

I DO hope that helps. Reading it back, I'm not so sure it will. 😕

Here’s a great video posted a few years back by A2A. They really nailed the finicky start-up in their virtual rendition. And if anyone thinks the interior looks too worn in the sim, it looks almost new compared to the real one A2A had.

I finally bought this over the weekend, and I had trouble starting the engines.  That video makes me feel a little better about my struggles 🙂

I doubt if anyone thinks that. It's pristine! I've asked if they would at least make it look as though the seats have been sat on at least once!
