July 25, 2025Jul 25 Turning Fauna off has long been a little tweak to improve performance, hopefully they've sussed the issue with this potential fix. July 25, 2025Jul 25 Yay! Great news. SU3 19 is already ultra stable for me, so this would add the icing on the cake! SU3 Beta... The team is currently preparing a new pre-release test build which will include performance improvements and new options to reduce/eliminate static aircraft, fauna, etc. as discussed in the recent Dev Q&A. This beta update is targeted for middle of next week. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
July 26, 2025Jul 26 This popped up on my YT feed, and this real-world pilot seems very pleased with the responsiveness of controls in SU3… have any of you in the beta experienced this? He seems to think it’s a game changer. https://youtu.be/hcZxhEHnlsk?si=Vu3s-Q74hLcADKgo&utm_source=MTQxZ

I haven't noticed any change but I've not experienced any problems with control latency. No mention of this in any release notes. This guy seems to think he's in some sort of ratings war...
July 26, 2025Jul 26 AFAIK there are no reported changes in flight dynamics with SU3 beta? Maybe I am wrong? What may be the case is that as developers are gaining more experience with the FS 2024 SDK and finding new ways to implement certain aspects of the flight dynamics and systems modeling that make jus to the upgraded FDM available with FS 2024. I am playing with airliners, 95% of the time, and of those, 95% of the time Airbuses, so, noticing great improvements in flight dynamics is not something I am easily able to do, but I have tried some gliders and helis as well as the recently added free Piper, and they feel rather acceptable to me, the helis being those that fail the most to comply to RW helicopter systems and aerodynamics, but are still enjoyable... Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
