August 17, 2025Aug 17 I just completed a 3-hour flight from SEQU to TNCM in the Citation X. It was a very beautiful trip with no problems. Using AIG, AS Volanta and FStramp. My Vram never exceeded 90% and my ram stayed around 42 to 50%. The last SU3 update has shown no popup bugs yet. I'm setting up now for a flight with INI A350 from KATL to KLAX which will be the big test for me. Haven't had any problems yet. August 17, 2025Aug 17 With this new build, I see much better performance in the Fenix at Heathrow, 60 FPS, but only when departing. If I use Heathrow as my destination, the FPS drops into the 40's and I have quite bad stuttering. i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.

August 20, 2025Aug 20 Apparently many users cannot switch in and out of the BETA as fast as I do. So I can compare between the two very easily. 1) in SU3, I cannot complete a single flight without one of 3 issues: 1 CTD. 2 Screen freezes. 3 Or all controllers go dead and do nothing but the screen movement does not freeze. 100% of the time. Every flight. When one of these 3 things happen, high heat comes out of the computer exhaust fan. I don't know for sure if its CPU or GPU. 2) in SU2 None of these issues ever happens. Not once. Not ever. 3) The early SU3 betas did not have this problem. The later versions (about the last 3 versions) always have this issues. Always. Every flight. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
August 20, 2025Aug 20 If I had to guess, it would be that it's those tricks Asobo is doing with memory management to optimize how memory routines happens. They are now faster, but not very reliable, I am thinking. I never had a single issue with early versions of SU3. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. That's the reason why I uninstalled FS2024 for the moment: the compromises to run it without stuttering make it look far worse than MSFS in most circumstances. 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

The fact that others don’t seem to be getting this experience indicates, sadly, that the latest beta has exposed an instability in your particular hardware: not something any of us wants to hear! 😖 FS has always had the potential to reach parts that OCCT etc cannot reach 😕 14900ks, RTX4090, 64Gb@6000-30-36-36-T2, Samsung 990Pro 2Tb , Dell G3223Q 32" 4k Gsync + 27" secondary monitor. Unless, of course, your PSU is dying and cannot sustain CPU+GPU intensive loads at the same time. But in that case, hard reboots are much more common than CTDs. 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

And yet again and again over the years/decades, FS in its various forms has always managed to stress the components in ways that the tests can sometimes miss … 😵💫 14900ks, RTX4090, 64Gb@6000-30-36-36-T2, Samsung 990Pro 2Tb , Dell G3223Q 32" 4k Gsync + 27" secondary monitor.
