We all know fps drops a little when we rolling down the runway, welp, at least for me, there is not a single dip in fps. It maintains FPS throughout the takeoff roll. I think Asobo finally found the secret sauce." Comment from the MSFS forum 🙂 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

September 9, 2025Sep 9 unlike the 777 the A350 does does run, but it won't read or download the navigraph data, and the oil and batteries need to be replaced in the OIS as they start empty. Don't have time to do a full flight, but I just took off from NZAA to YSSY, and it's flying the same as it did before SU4, but the performance was a lot better on the ground. September 9, 2025Sep 9 Amazing improvement of performance for me with fenix. Great looking forward for weather and night improvements. Holy cow...

It nearly doubled my performance in Singapore with the Ini A350. Same stand, same traffic; I had 90 FPS before with FG x4 (5090 and 285k), and now I'm getting 170+ FPS. Amazing! Hopefully, they can maintain this level of performance. Even when increasing the TLOD setting (up to 400) , the performance remains excellent. Edited September 9, 2025Sep 9 by MaximumN2
September 9, 2025Sep 9 Author I get a flickering screen in 2d if frame generation is turned on. All seems well in VR. Robin

September 9, 2025Sep 9 Physics Сessna 172 (classic and G1000), Extra 330LT: Integrated full inertia tensor support, MOI recalculation fixes for aircraft weight changes, and rotational dynamics fix. Added support for a full inertia tensor used in aircraft rotation modeling via the new “empty_inertia_tensor” parameter in the [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] section of flight_model.cfg file (see SDK for details). When this parameter is specified, it also enables the following fixes: Fixed incorrect effect of payload stations on MOI changes. Note: if you previously compensated for this by increasing the empty aircraft MOIs, re-adjustment may now be necessary. Fixed incorrect MOI recalculation during in-simulation weight changes. Fixed several issues in rotational dynamics modeling: the laws of conservation and evolution of angular momentum and rotational kinetic energy are now satisfied with high accuracy. Increased limits for angular velocity (to 10 revs/sec) and angular acceleration (to 100 revs/sec^2). These limits only safeguard against crashes from incorrect flight model settings and are not expected to trigger in normal gameplay. Fixed excessive drifting on the landing gear when the rotational dynamics fix (activated by “empty_inertia_tensor”) is enabled. performance is way better, hope the improvements continue but I was curious about this « physics » section of the update. I tried the 172 and it’s better, more stable in the pitch wich was a small issue for the 172 in 2024. we also need more rudder to keep a coordinated turn. Try it and report if you like it or if you don’t fell anything different Edited September 9, 2025Sep 9 by cyril972
September 9, 2025Sep 9 Looks like Asobo hit a home run in the performance department with this one. Let's pray that subsequent builds don't result in regressions. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

Huge improvement in fps / smoothness (in VR). I feel sorry for those not in the beta. I locked in the fps in msfs setings 25% higher than usual. Flew whole flight perfectly without jitters or micro pauses. Amazing. I can go even higher (I think). Haven't tried yet. (Amazing because before I could not lock in such a high fps because it would pause and stutter. Now I can. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
