No more double views on the monitor screen when in VR.

Any improvement on the vram front?

The smoothness is incredible! At inibuilds EGLL, with the Fenix, 4K Ultra.. it was 60+ fps the entire way through the takeoff roll.. with ZERO stutters.. It was incredible. Flying through cloud now and it's just super duper smooooooth.

Beta isn’t working for me. Error code: 1047 “Unexpected Cloud Error Occurred and We Couldn’t Save Your File”.

I have an empty Community Folder and repaired all files via Steam. Then I left the Beta, rebooted, and SU3 works fine. Then download Beta again, rebooted and then launched the sim and error comes back. Anyone else experienced this yet and  figured out a solution?

Simbrief app didn't load into the EFB.

I dont want to say with a certainty of yes but it kinda does look like they have done a bit of optimization. I havent seen the resource pop up as yet but my flight isnt over as yet

KPDX-KSJC in the Fenix A320 .. pretty darned smooth so far i gotta say and the vram hasnt blown over its allocation as yet.

Ruining the party: how long does it take until someone finds the reason for this massive performance increase being a huge regression in something else like draw distance, TLOD setting or similiar? Usually such increases are not a free lunch...

SU3 is rockin and rollin but SU4 beta sounds like it could be fun.

  • Replace the full 2 eyes view on desktop monitor with a single cropped 16:9 view.

Wonderful, will make recording videos a much easier experience

HALLELUJAH!

It's only taken them nearly five years to apply a bit of code that would take all of 2 minutes (fact!), it's a little thing but finally we're in line with practically every single other VR game on the market.

Interested in the performance optimisations as that's one area that needs a lot of attention, will have to try it later as SU3 is not quite there in that respect.

The rest of the bugs and fixes are of course welcome, will have a closer look at them later.
