September 19, 2025Sep 19 I wished they would spend more time on the E-Jets, I will show myself out now.
September 19, 2025Sep 19 Really excited for this but having to pay for TCAS and Dual DME, kinda rubs me the wrong way. I really wish these 2 would come as free additions to the default aircraft.
September 19, 2025Sep 19 As an owner of their freighter version I had hoped to be able to purchase their passenger version at a reasonable discount. But I would only get 20 percent off ? No thanks. September 19, 2025Sep 19 I'm really enjoying the FSS B727-200...I've only had it a couple of months...I usually wait for the majority of bugs to get worked out on new releases. Excited for this update as well...although, the current set-up is all I really need...well, maybe the TCAS... 🙂 Highly recommend this product!
September 19, 2025Sep 19 I will wait for the original/standard B-727-200 passenger if they get to do it with no hushkit. Edited September 19, 2025Sep 19 by Whisper202

I really wish we could go back in time and convince them that trying to dress up the Asobo code was hubristic and foolish, which it seems they've learned on their own. Idk man yeah I'm out $85 for the two of them, I'm not happy, for sure, but they do seem to be posting legitimate progress and learning the finer points of LNAV/VNAV/autopilot at a predictably glacial pace. Maybe we'll get a full FMS by the end of the year, maybe not. Either way I'm still out the money, balance is cleared from my credit card, there's a limit on how much anger I can have.
September 20, 2025Sep 20 Cool that the Super 27 is coming very soon if not pretty much already! I can't wait for the 100 when it comes along. I wonder if they will Super 27 the 100 as well? A few exist! Only thing I really don't like about this package is the hush kits. I personally think they are a bit of an eye sore and it would be nice to have the regular models without them. Of coarse on paints that require the hush kits its totally cool and fine but it ruins the experience if you are flying an old retro livery. Also at some point different engine options would be banger. I believe the 9A series JT8D's are modeled and these are pretty weak. I believe 14A engines were pretty much standard for the 200 and many that operated in hot areas had 15A engines fitted for a bit extra kick. The Hot Rods were the 17 and 17R engines and these performed better in hot and high situations. I think the 9A engine was not even an option on the 200 Advanced and only the early 200 non advanced models had them. Some 200's had auxiliary fuel tanks for extra range and gross weight options were all over the place. Later builds had the option of a pretty high gross weight and carried extra fuel so it could use it. My exact history on the 727 goes way back and I might be off a bit but overall pretty close. From talking with many 727 pilots over the years many said the engine options made or broke the aircraft. Weaker engine options were definitely weak but they very late builds actually performed pretty solid.
September 20, 2025Sep 20 Is this for fs2024 too? I always liked 727s since I was a kidd... Remember an Aurora 1/72 model of the 727-100... in the colours of Lufthansa (of the seventies...) I thought I was the only one waiting for the -100's. While I don't care much about the Super 27 engines, I do care about some of the cockpit upgrades and the possibility of getting the original, non hush-kitted engines. During my FS9 days I swapped a lot of gauges in both the HJG and later the Dreamfleet panels, for simulating these additions. September 20, 2025Sep 20 Everything I've heard about FSS's reputation tells me their implementation of the Collins avionics is going to be middling at best. And if that's the case, Contrail's Falcon is also going to be DOA since they're copy/pasting FSS's Collins avionics.

Sorry but I fail to understand what was so obnoxious or insulting about my post. Whats wrong with you? E-Jets could use a little more attention and more TLC though (just like their 727 series) that is all I am saying. Edited September 20, 2025Sep 20 by JBDB-MD80

I was making a comment on how you politely, sanely, without hyperbole, requested FSS work on the Ejets. An attitude in short supply in this and other forums. Obviously, it did not come across as I intended so I will apologize and move on. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
