Good. Glad they've patched it. Wait! There's no mention of the fact that the loading in the EFB is only for freighters?..

I like the A300.  It seems these days everyone focuses on the ultra modern planes.  But I still like to roll up my sleeves and have a job to do.  Good to see them still updating this plane.

Did you really expect better from iniBuilds....??

I really get so frustrated with them, they have a huge company base, and so much potential for their aircraft to be good. I really want to like them, but they are just totally out of their depth I'm afraid, all of their aircraft are littered with bugs and errors.

That can be said about any aircraft developer, but the difference is they are constantly working on updates.

Their A300 is better (a lot better) than some of their other stuff though.

It's a SU4 Beta issue, not an inibuilds issue. I switched out the beta back to SU3 and it works fine.

Yeah it's an SU4 issue, going back to SU3 fixed it. I don't know why I didn't think about that before reporting it.

Have they fixed the issue where fuel burn stays at 1x when time acceleration is turned on?

Wait, does this mean MS is out of their depth!? 😉

Keep the blue part on top...

Seems to still have the issue where if you load the plane and then access the menu, the performance tanks. Fortunately it seems to be improved from prior to the update where sometimes it wouldn't recover at all. Otherwise I did a couple flights tonight and it worked well. Performance was solid after getting past the menu hiccups.

What do you mean, by "the menu"?   You mean switch to other EFB pages?

No - there has been a known issue with the A300 Premium where if you access the sim menu (Controls for instance) and then resume your session, the performance will drop for a brief time. This can become progressively worse as you enter and exit the sim menu. While it's better with this update, it's not fixed.

The A300 in 2024 is the worst product I've bought in ages.  It was buggy in 2020 but functioned decently, however, performance and problems in 2024 make it worthy of nothing short of an uninstall.  It was a cheap upgrade, but I'm still sorry I spent the money either way.
