just ignore them, there's plenty of us who see the good & bad and can discuss it like adults without resorting to continuous belittling of peoples opinions.

But sometimes i just cant hold it... 😄

  • Man, people were fine with FSX/P3D offering just a plausible world with mediocre graphics at its best. Many spent thousands in scenery. Today we have a sim that is giving us the world (most of it anyw

  • They knocked it out of the park with this update. I’m thankful they continue to invest resources in updating the planet’s digital twin. But candidly, the lack of gratitude and grousing from the flight

  • Thanks MS/Asobo for yet another free update, unrequested, just a gift I did nothing to deserve.  Cheers and thanks, keep up the awesome work!

All it needs is a couple of those long white Bullet Trains. That would be so cool ☺️

I'd love to know the downside to Japan getting a further update to it's scenery five years after the it's initial WU.

Who said anything about a downside ? The only downside i see is other regions that received 0 updates since MSFS released over 5 years ago...

A new set of screens during the loading process is also welcome. Well, unless it is a fictional scenario like Dune

Wait until you see the new surprise tie-in for this year - it won't be long!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

2024 doesn't have screens like that 😉

🤣 I guess you have already forgotten about the Brazil update this year. And Africa is in the pipeline! Jorg has already described the challenges of capturing the data from other parts of the world.

I don't have any World Update 20 listed in FS2020. The last one listed is 19-Brazil. I got a small update to World Update 1 Japan, but that was all.

Haven't we said, twice in this thread, and 19 times at least with the other World Updates, that they need to be unlocked in the marketplace?

Obviously that is where I was looking, it's where I saw 19- Brazil which I mentioned, and where I got the small update to 1-Japan which I mentioned. Where else would I see these but in the marketplace?

A small update to Japan 1? That sounds like you are in your content manager and not the marketplace.

I must be getting too old for msfs. Remind me, have all the previous world updates been through marketplace?

As of 21:00 UTC last night still getting terrain issues at RJTT after getting the Japan update in MSFS24. The rest looks great though.
