November 10, 2025Nov 10 Author Per the announcement "SayIntentions.AI | BREAKING NEWS Huge News: We Just Got Better Pricing — And So Do You! At SayIntentions.AI, we’ve always said we’d be transparent and keep pricing as fair and sustainable as possible for our pilots. We’ve promised that as our costs go down, your price does too. When we introduced the previous price adjustment, it reflected higher operating costs tied to our infrastructure and AI providers. Then, almost immediately — and much to our own surprise — we managed to negotiate a large-scale agreement that will significantly reduce those costs. But even better — we’re not just reversing the previous increase, we’re going lower than ever before. Starting immediately, SayIntentions.AI is $18.95/month — down from $23.95, and even below our long-standing $19.95 plan. Anyone who paid the higher price will automatically receive an account credit for the difference. Additionally, all annual subscribers will receive a pro-rated credit bringing them to the new rate for the remainder of their subscription. We take our promises seriously. Everyone who paid the higher price is being taken care of — and everyone who paid in advance is being moved to the new price effective immediately. And as always, as we continue to find more discounts, those will be passed on. 💬 FAQ Q: Why did the price go up and then come back down? A: The initial increase reflected ongoing higher costs, and no signs of reversal. Within days, we secured a major cost reduction from our cloud partners — allowing us to not only reverse the increase, but lower prices even further. The timing was extremely unexpected, but the outcome is great news for everyone. Q: Is this a limited-time discount? A: No. This is our new standard price, made possible by long-term savings from our vendor agreement. Q: I paid $23.95 recently — what happens now? A: You’ll automatically receive an account credit for the difference between $23.95 and $18.95. If you’d prefer a direct refund instead, email [email protected] and we’ll handle it right away. Q: What about annual subscribers? A: ALL annual subscribers will receive a pro-rated account credit for the remaining portion of their subscription, based on the new rate. Q: Do I need to do anything? A: No — the new pricing applies automatically on your next renewal or billing date. Q: When will I see the credit? A: You should see the credit on or before November 14th." Edited November 10, 2025Nov 10 by vp49p3 Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.
November 10, 2025Nov 10 Sweet!! I own both SI and BATC and while they’re both great programs as of great now I prefer SI. Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
November 10, 2025Nov 10 I’ve been using SI for over a year now and couldn’t be happier with the interface and the steady stream of new features. From checklists to cabin announcements and everything in between, it always delivers — and now it’s even more affordable! What a great early Christmas gift. Thanks, SI team!
November 10, 2025Nov 10 Good to see they are reversing their course. You guys are probably on the SI Discord? Tell them that they should also stop sending people unwanted emails. I have tried everything to stop getting several emails a week from Brian, including deletion of my SI account. Every unwanted email I receive pushes me further away from becoming a customer. In my view, this is not an acceptable business practice. Peter
November 10, 2025Nov 10 Author If I had my guess there's probably no need to go on discord about emails as I imagine they've already read this thread. Hopefully they'll stop bombarding with the unwanted emails. Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.
November 10, 2025Nov 10 So enough people rejected their price increase that the had to change course. Good. I’m still not going to use it, it doesn’t feel like a sustainable business model and they have shown a willingness to use shady tactics.. if they are still around in 2 years I may look at them. But I don’t see them lasting too long. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
November 10, 2025Nov 10 Of course this is just conjecture but I have the suspicion that nothing of what Brian says in the announcement is actually true and it is more likely that people jumped ship after the price increase. And that pressure lead to the reversal of the course. And now he is selling this as the result of negotiations. From a guy who sends himself fake birthday cakes and keeps spamming people's e-mail accounts even after unsubscribing from mailing lists, I expect nothing less than another lie.
November 10, 2025Nov 10 Yes, that’s my read as well. Could be wrong of course, but this company just doesn’t feel trustworthy at all, even more so than the average company. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

You are likely correct.....this dude has given me bad vibes ever since I did a short trial 18 months ago. But of course, this will now give them more marketing publicity again with news of the "PRICE DROP!!!" Oh, and I also recently started getting bombarded by their emails after unsubscribing some time ago. Trying the 'block' feature on my email this time... November 10, 2025Nov 10 Well as you said, it is just conjecture that the price drop was due to a drop in subscriptions. As a user and supporter of SI since day 1, it did cross my mind too, whether we were being told the true story for the sudden price drop! 😄 Now again, I like SI and where it is going. I'd never fly without it in the sim now. But... I have to agree that it feels like Brian has been on too many "supreme marketing 101!" courses. All of the language in the emails is packed full of superlatives and dramatics. Every new feature is the greatest innovation ever seen (even if it deployed poorly, like Checklist v1 was). They over-sell persistantly, which creates a high risk that the result will be an under-delivery. The 'real' marketing 101 book says "under-promise and over-deliver" 😉 That is definitely not Brian's style. I get 1 email per week if I recall correctly, which I personally don't see as excessive - but that's because I'm an active user, interested in it's development. If I had unsubsribed and was still getting the emails, that would irk me too. Anyway, regardless of the potential drama and reasoning, a price drop is good and welcome! Although for those of us on the 'frozen' rate of $19.99 a month, it's only $1, but every penny counts! It’s illegal and a violation of anti-spam laws in many countries. Naturally the real spammers ignore all such laws, but companies typically don’t because there are real penalties. To see a “real” company continue to spam away just goes to show that they aren’t a legit business. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

It's more likely they have separate lists - probably a member one and a separate promo one. All an opt-out button does is remove you from one of them. I'd suggest you try unsubscribing from any others you get after you unsubscribed from the other email.
