January 30Jan 30 Quote Microsoft (MSFT) reported its second quarter earnings after the bell on Wednesday, beating Wall Street estimates on the top and bottom lines, with cloud revenue topping $50 billion for the first time. But the company's stock fell over 11% Thursday as investors worried about that cloud growth slowing — and about the company's ballooning AI-fueled spending. HEre is why. January 30Jan 30 That's the problem with cloud based applications. They rely on the servers working and MS seem unable to keep them working too many times. Pretty poor show for a multi billion $ company really. Stuck here in the UK with limited time available for simming due to other commitments and MS lets us down again - which seems to happen on a regular basis. January 30Jan 30 Even P3D v6 now requires online autentication every single time you want to run it. I better keep an FSX install around for those off days where internet is not cooperating (or P3D v5). Rui Laureano Lisboa, Portugal
January 30Jan 30 Same problem in South Africa at the moment. Unacceptable but good to see it is not just me.😡 Johan Pienaar
January 30Jan 30 On the FS Site they are aware of the issues with both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. I think 2020 is either back or coming back - MSFS2024 is classed as 'A Partial Outage' Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset
January 30Jan 30 It's now been almost 5 hours of not being able to reach the authentication servers...
