Usually the last several SU4 betas have been pretty good minus a few tiny things here or there. 41 minutes ago, JonathanC said: Yes the change log will be long.. but let me tell you, it’s not just “performance” as in the fps in the flights are much better (which is true).. it’s the whole entire experience using the software. Every single thing is faster - moving around menus, zooming into the world map, loading, choosing planes.. everything. that’s what really makes this such a massive release. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that SU4 will be the best SU since I started as a Tech Alpha insider in 2019. Before the negative chaps chime in - yea I know there are various things still buggy, I’m not saying everything is perfect. But the performance gains are truly massive across the board. Thank you for bringing that up and I completely agree. Hopefully the clouds look less fuzzy/pixely (if that's even a word) this time around. Oh well if they're not. I am still enjoying my sort-of around the world flying in the FFx P180. Started in KTTD (freeware scenery), KBOK, KSFO....now not sure where I should go. November 15, 2025Nov 15 The cloud weirdness seems to be gone (in 2D, I don't use VR). Clouds are back to their normal fluffy look, with none of that pixel-creep/shimmer weirdness that happened in the last build. Performance is great, possibly smoother, but haven't done any serious testing yet. Just a feeling. No obvious major bugs, nothing broken as far as I can tell in two flights. Overall, a smooth update. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

November 15, 2025Nov 15 Just make sure you have changed your dlss with dlss swapper to make sure its updated. Now I don't have my Gsync indicator anymore (even though its on and its clearly working) but all is well. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

FWIW not that it would have applied to this specefic trip but I have never seen/noticed any black lines over water. Lots of other folks have them in SU4 apparently: Black lines in the water - Bug Reporting Hub / Scenery and Airports - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums I just checked in SU3:

November 15, 2025Nov 15 The lines went away for me too. Performance (VR) did not decrease with latest Beta update. If anything, it is better. Only have a 4070 12GB, but can run full headset resolution in Pimax Client. I do use MSFS foveated rendering at 50. EDIT: And mouse tracking works perfectly in VR (you have to turn off the controllers if you have them. I saved $100 by not buying the controllers. I would never use them If I had them).
