If you like flying in lower Alaska RTMM gives you many cabins and seaplane bases to fly to. Quite an awesome package if you ask me it puts everything on the map so you can navigate to each item. It was updated in 2025. You have to download from their discord server which is easy to figure out. Edit. Here's the link.

I use MSFS2020 and my RTMM is old version 1.1

Is the updated RTMM for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024?

Note: I am not on their Discord Server.

I use it in 2024 and it works great. To get on their discord server just go to the page I linked and click on discord and it should take you there with an invitation to join. I had to log in to discord first and I downloaded the 2025 pack that has all the sceneries. I downloaded the optional files from flightsim.to to make the flags wave also.

I found my lake cabin about 30 minutes north of Ketchikan and used my campout utility to put up a tent and a fire.

Oh man, thanks for reminding me of the very existence of this! Had so much fun with it in FSX, downloaded it for 2020 years ago but then totally forgot about it.

A famous location right back to FSX or even FS9. Definitely a GA/bush classic.

very nice.

I've spent many, many hours flying in Misty with FS9, FSX and now with FS2020.  Not only have they created an awesome scenery package, they also are a great community.  You can find a link to their Discord channel from their website: https://return.mistymoorings.com/z20_homepage/index.php.

Wonderful and evocative pictures, Todd. The four words in your title, indeed, bring back some nice memories of our bygone SIM days...

A tent, a fire, a canoe...and a Beaver...what else one needs...🙂...?

It looks like you are getting to know Alaska rather well...

Have fun...!

I'm not a fan of Discord, but the current files are pretty easy to find on their site even for novice/non Discord users.  Follow the link Todd provides and accept the invite.  Look for the upload channels on the left titled "rtmm-scenery-msfs2020" (contains links to the main install zip file) and "rtmm-scenery-msfs2024" (links to the zip files for 2024 updating).  The update for 2024 currently consists of 7 zip files which will need to be added to the base MSFS install to address known compatibility issues.

They've made it pretty simple - much simpler than I remember from the old FSX days.  Easy-peasey!

OMG, Emma Field... Does that bring back memories.. 🙂

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Love their work in P3D, glad they’re still motivated to do this for MSFS 2024

Scott,

Thanks for the additional Discord/Product download information.

I have been using version RTMM v1.1 (2 Zip files for MSFS2020) since 2021.

Currently reviewing the information in the RTMM forum.

Nice post, I forgot all about RTMM since I installed in FSX and PD3. Looking forward to revisit in 2024. Nice easy install using addon linker.
