It's a user here called @AverageJoe He has only 10 posts - all of them promoting or discussing SI features. In one post, he declares himself "SayIntentions Admin", yet his AVSIM profile is not disclosed as a "Commercial member". Meh, who cares, right? It's all public information anyway. And SI will eventually die if they keep this path, so it's a self-correcting issue. Best is to just ignore them. They kept spamming me so I reported them and have blocked their domain on my server. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

I can guarantee you that flying into KORD and ESSA is a whole different experience in BATC. Last time I flew into KORD I had 20 aircraft on the approach close to me For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Then it is like send in a ticket but hello I am a paying customer. That is what I don’t like, I mean if it was a free open source software ok but I am paying so please fix it. I don’t want to send in a ticket every flight. I could if you pay me for it but in this case I am the paying customer and it is also the most expensive software I have for my flight simulator. So you should fix it not me! Thanks, that's exactly how I feel sometimes. I like SI and will continue using it when I fly with ATC, but yes - there are times, where it feels like you report bugs, even those who were resolved before and now made it's way back. And it's a bit frustrating, because it feels like to pay for being a tester. Yes, no software will be always be perfect and most of the time, it works. But often bugs were excused with "it's realistic, the reality isn't always perfect" which is a bit odd. One example is runway operations (SI sometimes uses questionable runway operations with live weather, differing from RL operations) - yes, you can lock runways to your SimBrief plan, but this eliminates flexibility when the weather changes during the flight. So with the flexibility of AI, I think "Hey, it's okay - software has bugs, but I just can request another approach" and explain why - which get's denied. This doesn't make sense, it only would if the software had no bugs. And even if you can "convince" the controller to change your approach and ATC acknowledges it, it forgets about it 5 minutes later and clears you for the old / "wrong" approach. To be fair, they now introduced an option, that they will accept your requests, but they explained "it's unrealistic" - it would be, if the software wouldn't make mistakes in advance, so this can be frustrating sometimes. January 16Jan 16 And SI has had CDPLC for Fenix and both PMDG products for quite some time. BATC has it for Fenix only and it was added only recently. It's really nice feature to request a specific gate in arriving airport beside other standard features. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

It's not schedules (as in: time, route etc.), it's *scheduled flights*. 100% of all scheduled flights is real life traffic amounts (for IFR at least). To be clear: If you put the sliders to 10, you will get the exact real life amounts of departing and arriving traffic at ESSA or KORD. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. "I don’t want to send in a ticket every flight." : if it was only one 😉 Oups, right now the service is barely done (mega slow response if any). My only concern is that SI is the only solution to populate fairly realistically GA airports with small/GA aircraft. Edited January 17Jan 17 by vbazillio Vincent B. January 17Jan 17 Don't want to hijack this thread, I did a couple of flights in the Fenix duplicated in both BATC and VoxATC yesterday...would anyone find my observations interesting about differences and similarities? Or even if I did two videos of the same flight and put together the highlights and key points to illustrate it? Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
January 17Jan 17 Yes that would be very interesting to see Kevin. I liked Vox ATC when using it in P3D. I am using BATC and sometimes its great, for me I wish they would have the possibility to declare an 'Emergency' and return to your departure airport or find an alternative, used to love that feature of Radar Contact back in the day.
