But he asked for the video so here it 😊 Thank you @JYW ! Will try to compare to the Toliss if / when I get it in my "hangar" 🙂 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I think the main problem is that it is a MS2020 model that was ported upwards. Compare it to INIBuilds and their A350. That is a MS2024 model ported downwards. That gives you lots of more properties in MS2024 that a 2020 model doesn't have and the you can use to make stuff look more realistic. Just go watch the new Tristar Video Ini just released and you will see of how much better their texturing and modelling is. It's not even funny.

And to be honest, it's very disappointing that Aerosoft has taken a 'that's good enough' approach to this project. Relatively speaking, it's behind the curve 100%. I just don't think people should be turned away from acquiring it due to 'bad textures' - because they are not 'that bad'. But they are also not on 2026 baseline expectations from a premium project at a premium price.

March 17Mar 17 tl;dr for those who don't want to watch the video: Torsten says the time constant in the physical simulation of the wing flex may be too low, causing the wing to flex too quickly; he's looking at changing it. In addition, IIUC correctly, the 3D team is working on refining the modeling of the flaps so that the visual representation of the flexing wing will look better.

It's still very good but it should be way better than it is.

Glad I bought it but some areas aren't good enough and I hope they will be improved. But as a generally immersive aircraft, it's a lot of fun to fly even now. March 17Mar 17 Never flown a Tolis plane and after having heard many good things about it I have to say this certainly hasn't left me with any enthusiasm to pick this one up, one too many rough edges, I'll keep watching some more videos from others nevertheless. When it comes to a330driver I for one appreciate his videos, I think it's pretty word not allowed disresepctful to call him a clown and a muppet, not to mention ungrateful given that people like him create tutorials for flight simmers which I certainly have found to be very useful, this stuff takes a lot of time and effort. But sure let's treat people who contribute to the flight sim community in this manner shall we, that certainly will help grow it. 🤨 As to him deleting comments, can't possibly see that being the case either. I've seen my comments being deleted on various YouTube videos many times and I know for a fact that the content creator did not delete them and I can assure you there was nothing contentious in them at all. YouTube definitely deletes comments for what appear to be arbitrary reasons and the statement that "I haven't seen other creators have this issue", well unless it's your comment how would you?
March 17Mar 17 Textures seem a bit lacking, wing flex is wrong and the flight model needs some work...😁

Appriciate the tutorial videos but any review ones because they are really not balanced. It's okay for him to call people names and constantly slander? It's okay for him to treat the flightsim community like trash. He is the one turning people away from the community. I say like I did on the other post. He even admitted to deleting comments that don't go the way he wants. "I haven't seen other creators have this issue" Like I said you don't get other people asking the same question where is my comment gone you just don't funny how it's just so happens to be on this one. He receives decent payback for his work. Whichever way you look at it, he is a controversial figure. He shows strategic imbalance in (some of) his reviews. Ie. PMDG are always blameless and represent perfection (he works / worked for them as a technical advisor). Other devs, he has a bee in his bonnet about and won't give even reasonable praise for positive aspects of their product. He is a guy who demonstrably carries quite a large ego and sense of self importance. Whether that is warranted is down to the viewer. It's not like anyone is attacking Mother Theresa here. March 18Mar 18 Can just see the when the new IFly Max update drops how the review will go and won't stop praising PMDG.

March 20Mar 20 Well based on the reviews , I think I will pick this up and hope that some updates come through. What's also attractive right now is the product has a 12% sale on according to Contrail so here in Germany its €69.99 incl sales tax.
