March 29Mar 29 I just grabed that one. And I must say: it’s absolutely fantastic! It improves all default airports quite massively in my opinion and I can only recommend it. i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM
March 29Mar 29 Author Thank you for the feedback @Franz007 I haven't purchased it yet, but it's in my 2-buy list 🙂 The FF 777 is next in the row now .... March 29Mar 29 I used AEP, looked great except the shimmering of ground textures during movement. March 30Mar 30 Also picked this up right away, great addon and I'd agree its made a good difference to the textures and general clutter and markings! AME GE90, GP7200 CFM56
March 30Mar 30 Looks great, only issue is the ground shimmer I see when the aircraft is in motion. Only seems to be on the front screen, the sides look fine. March 30Mar 30 I grabbed this back when it released awhile ago. IIRC, it made a noticeable graphical improvement for Default airports (as intended). I didn’t specifically test, but there wasn’t a noticeable effect on frames. Edited March 30Mar 30 by UrgentSiesta

April 1Apr 1 Author question: thgere are 2 folders AEP and AEP_Overlays, which both go into Custom_scenery, but the instuctions in the Manual only mention where to place in scenery_packs.ini the reference to AEP_Overlays, saying it should be placed right before GLOBAL_AIRPORTS, but no mention on where to place the reference to the AEP folder? Can it be placed anywhere in scenery_packs.ini ? April 1Apr 1 I didn’t move the AEP folder anywhere specific in the scenery packs file and XP placed it at the bottom. Works fine. Gary i9-13900K, Asus RTX 4080, Asus Z790 Plus Wi-Fi, 32 GB Ram, Seasonic GX-1000W, LG C1 48” OLED 4K monitor, Quest 3 VR

Ok, so what you mean is that it appears placed at the bottom of scenerey_packs.ini right? Can it be placed anywhere in scenery_packs.ini ? According to the FAQ on X-Codr's website: Quote Q: Do I need to add "AEP" to my scenery_packs.ini, or just "AEP Overlays"? A: No, you do not need to add "AEP" to your scenery_packs.ini, since it's position in the ini does not matter, you can let X-Plane add it automatically Based on their statement that "it's position in the ini does not matter", it leads me to believe that the contents of that directory consists of library files and thus, ordering is irrelevant.
