April 1Apr 1 I had a great time today flying the TriStar from KJFK to KIAD. I went live, showcasing the addon as well as an in depth analysis of TriStar Systems and Delta Flows. A couple of quirks along the way: The captains CDI display didn't work, so I flew from the F/O's seat - a first in my 10 years flightsim experience 😃😁 VOR LOC didn't always work as intended. Also, the APU refused the shut down after engine start. Other than that I really enjoyed the ride ! The full tutorial here in case anyone wants more TriStar knowledge. The EFB is really nice too 😉

And given the old birds, I’m pretty sure at least one or two of those failures happened IRL, too 😉 I’ll watch your vid later on, but I'm curious as to your impressions of the DLC effects and flight model / physics in general?
April 1Apr 1 Why did the CDI not work on captain side? How was the flight model? L1011 in P3D (JF) seemed over powered even close to max weight. As far as APU not shutting down … are you sure APU bleed was off and did you wait the 2 minutes before it actually shuts down and green Avail light came on? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
April 2Apr 2 I found that if you hit the APU start button and then the APU stop button, the APU will shut down. April 2Apr 2 Mods, respectfully, I don’t see how this type of thread adds much value other than advertising the user’s YouTube channel.

Respectively I see nothing wrong with the OP post. If it bothers you perhaps you need to take a break from Avsim and take your shoes off, walk outside and touch some grass. Respectfully. -B

Didn’t mean to trigger you!
April 2Apr 2 The visuals look terrible for MSFS 2024. Where these just low graphics settings or does the Inibuilds L1011 just have crappy panel textures? The interior looks like P3D graphics....🤢 Into The Blue SImulations seems to be one of the few content creators who actually showcase nice MSFS 2024 visual fidelity these days. It wouldn't shut down regardless. It stayed on in flight too. Even pulling the APU fire handle didn't shut it down. 😕

Respectfully. -B You seem to forget that people actually make money with their YouTube channels and AVSIM has a policy against advertisement of your enterpise unless you identify yourself as commercial member and get the green light from the admins. Linking to a YouTube video of your own channel is most definately a form of advertisement that can increase viewership and as a result increase payout. Edited April 2Apr 2 by Farlis
