I'm sure I've just read an exhaustive thread on here, covering this release.

I wonder what the need for a further thread was, aside from pursuing clicks for  a YouTube channel.

Tell me if I'm out of order people, but has anyone else noticed a small group of YT content creators that are presently using this forum quite blatently to post their videos, as a means to attain clicks and views?  (Regardless as to whether the subject matter is already being covered in a neighbouring thread).

Just saying it as I'm seeing it.

seems some people aren't happy with a headline someone else wrote, they want their own headline. even clicking search is beyond some people. self promotion is the new modesty.

wow carmudgenons you guys are ok ok ... I'll never post again / go try your own channel and it's hard to restrict the excitement I have for sharing knowledge but yes, the wealth I make on Youtube is enormous and unfair to you ($58 so far this month) sorry for being here to have fun with everyone.

lots of grumps here no doubt , I really enjoy trying to make my videos less long filled with fluff .. I like to get to the point even if it means making a lot less potential on add money

Who cares about what the bitter scorned skeletal crew of AVSIM's former self has to complain about? Post your content and enjoy the users who appreciate it.

It's been us same 25 users who bring any sort of discussion traffic to these particular forums anyway. Without you we'd only be 24.🤣😂

Please post your videos here. I don't see anything wrong with it, it's related to MSFS.

As for the video itself, I found it informative. The performance of MSFS 2024 with SU4 is probably some of the best performamce among all flight simulators now.  And having this new framegen is just icing on the cake.

don't understand why that thread got moved to HARDWARE while this thread here is "... 50xx series card users" and that is NOT hardware ???

we are talking about the most exciting piece of software here (DLSS and FrameGen) since foveated rendering, multi-core optimizations etc.

And yes, it does relate to GPU's, but 1/2 of our threads are about improving fps & general performance, and that will always relate to hardware someway or another.

I have an AMD Radeon 7900XTX (24G) and it's been great but obviously it doesn't benefit from the DLSS updates and dynamic framegen discussed in this thread. I've lately been having loads of stutters even though I haven't changed much in my settings (not on the beta). It feels like in the last month stutters are really common, especially when panning around the cockpit. I know this isn't unusual but I'm wondering is it better to have a card like mine with huge VRAM or better to get a 4 or 5 series RTX GPU to take advantage of the framegen stuff? 

As long as it's judged as super informative to post multiple threads on some obscure tubeliner that I will never use just because in one thread the color of a switch is discussed and in the next one  somebody complains that 'passengers' board in the wrong order, I feel there is nothing wrong with this thread.
