April 27Apr 27 I finally left the beta because any day now the release version will probably come out. The annoying su4 release bugs came back of course (such as the default ATC AI and squelchy sound). These go away in the beta. Performance stability is better in beta. And then there's SU5 Seb clouds and wind currents. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

The final SU5 beta will simply convert to the full release version anyway when Asobo choose to make it live. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). April 27Apr 27 You are probably right. But there is advise out there that you should leave the beta before flying a new release version. That's what AI told me. And AI probably got their opinion for Reddit threads on the subject. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. There is no problem with staying enrolled in the beta when the release version goes live. With previous Sim Updates, the final beta build was the same build number as the release version, so those enrolled in the beta didn't even need to download a new update as they were already using the full release version. If you don't want to automatically enroll in the next beta (i.e. Sim Update 6), then you should exit the beta after SU5 is released. Otherwise, you can stay enrolled and will receive the first SU6 beta build as soon as it is available. Thanks, SeedyL, MSFS Community Manager

April 28Apr 28 You are D*(*( right I do. I had one lengthy conversation with it over a subject I was personally very knowledgeable about. It made stuff up, doubled down on it and then denied any wrongdoing when called out. You must not use it as an information tool! It's a language model that tries to mimick human interactions, nothing more. Edited April 28Apr 28 by Farlis
