May 18May 18 Just a SHORT flight around the airfield after a runway start. It is LOVELY in all regards, including ground and airborne handling. Can hardly wait for the M600!And speaking of really nice Embraer biz jets, look what snuck in for a photo bomb! 😆 Edited May 18May 18 by UrgentSiesta
May 18May 18 I picked it up too and, although I'm not a huge biz jet fan, I'm honestly blown away with it.It reeks quality and is very immersive. The sounds really stood out to me as being very high fidelity.I agree with @jon b - £37 really feels too low a price for this level of quality and complexity. But I'm going to thank and celebrate the fact that FSReborn are proving that something this good can be sold at a very accessible price; available to a wider range of simmers. Perhaps not all businesses need to absolutely maximize pricing and seek short-term profit above customer loyalty, brand reputation and every other measure. It was nice to find that, apart from a very slight sensitivity with ground steering on the T/O roll, the FDE really doesn't feel twitchy at all (to me). It's very nice to hand fly. I also find it has some of my favourite touchdown sounds in the sim.Although I'm a prop guy at heart and cannot wait for the M600, I honestly think that - even if you're only into flexwing ultralights or 1940s war planes 😄- anyone who doesn't buy this is sorely missing out.NB. My purchase in MP went smoothly and the plane was added to my (streamed) content. However, like the user above, I did have issues when trying to download the plane. It took around 15 mins to get to 37% (download size is around 4Gb), then jumped back to 22%, then slowly worked it's way up from there. It took a total 35 mins to download 4Gb. This size would normally take around 2-3 minutes with my connection. May 18May 18 I am really happy that you all are enjoying it. It has been pure 100% frustration for me. How are you guys even getting this sting started? I have been fighting this dang thing for over three hours and I can not even get the engines started. I even scrapped the dirt with CTL+E. Nothing I do will get the engines running. Kerry W. Nothing I do will get the engines running.I'd suggest watching the new tutorial videos on The flight level channel on YouTube. There are 6 videos, released today, that cover a basic point to point flight. It definitely starts, and runs and flies.Starting, being FADEC controlled, is largely automated and straightforward. Ensure the battery switches are turned on, on the left side panel. The engines are started by rotating the main engine knobs to 'start'. That's it; no need to introduce fuel at a given N2 or anything similar. One tip is that the engines will not start if your throttles are not both fully in the idle position. So check your axes or for a 'noisy pot' that could be preventing the start. (This is a real life feature by the way).No manual comes with the MP purchase but in case anyone wasn't aware, the manual can be downloaded here:https://fsr300e.fsreborn.com/FSR300E_Manual.pdf@GACSavannah - Engine starting is on Page 16 😉 Edited May 18May 18 by JYW Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000NPPL licence holder in the UK

May 18May 18 How does it handle during a direct 20kt crosswind, does it sideslip it well? How's the nite-lighting in the cockpit and backsplash on the panel (dimmable?). Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
May 18May 18 I'm interested! How well does this hand fly? Smoothness, sounds, etc.Only had a quick play flight, but from my brief flight, absolutely sublime handling. Trim it out and it stays put rather than diverging just for the sake of it like some sim aircraft do. I managed a couple of circuits and it was really, really nice on approach, it has that real aircraft feel to it, something that’s sadly very hard to find in this sim platform. 787 captain. May 19May 19 I also had trouble starting it initially, I found it needed the fuel pumps to be turned on otherwise it wouldn’t start.Thank you. I have tried with fuel pumps on and off, ignitors on, and auto,I even disabled all failures. Still no luck... Still trying... Kerry W. This one flys nice also.dd
May 19May 19 What's the in sim performance like? Decent frames, smooth? As well optimized as anything else i'm flying: No noticeable hit to FPS and definitely smooth, no stutters.

They don't even try to start. Don't even crank. No response at all from either engine. Kerry W.
