4 hours ago4 hr Very interesting explanations. So basically the unstable landing behaviour was a combination of user’s sensitive rudder hardware and the spoilers which act as a lift dump on landing , thus stabilising the aircraft on touchdown in crosswinds , not deploying as they have been bound to an axis. There’s also an explanation that as the spoilers are aerodynamically correct for ground operations they are exaggerated for in flight use, and the base sim doesn’t allow developers to differentiate. This would explain the 27,000fpm rate of descent mentioned elsewhere. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

Now I can use those beautiful paints.ddHi, can you please disable all third party repaints and check the default paints again? We got some reports that some 3rd party liveries from .to seem to overwrite the dynamic reg settings leading to the observed behaviour.Cheers T.
