Another upcoming Bizzjet: Citation Sourvereign

A quite impressive first look for. Someone got inspired by the Hotstart Challenger and went all in with the 3D and systems modelling.

Full thread on it yesterday :-

Loving all the quality business jets coming out and in the pipeline. It was a very neglected area of flight sim for years. Fond memories messing around with the old eaglesoft business jets. Airliners are fun but being able to jump into a business jet start up quickly and still go fast once in the air is something else.

Is a Sovereign+ single-pilot?

Not that it really matters I guess. I fly A300-600's single pilot heh. But just curious as I don't know too much about Sovereign's. I know they have 3000 nm range class which is nice. That could probably do New York-London westbound or from Shannon-to-NY for sure.

I hope we get tons of bizjets in 2026 and 2027...maybe we will since a lot of the airliners are covered/or will be covered soontm (747, 757/767, I'm thinking of you)

From the Avionics it certainly looks like it.

@Mace

Neither the Sovereign nor Longitude are single pilot certified.

Neither is the Lear 35, which is relatively simple as well.

All of which are (superficially, at least) surprising since they don’t seem any more complicated than the King Airs, which are all single pilot.

That's really surprising. The layout of the Souvereign really looks like it is single pilot ready.

Totally agree. AFAIK, it’s more to do with the IRL commercial operations than the aircraft itself.

It's cool to see some more business jets coming out. But I'm not a huge fan of ones like this with the ultra modern avionics. Would prefer to go back 10-20 years and see some more release from that generation.

Well, soon-ish we’ll be getting the Contrail Falcon 50, and hopefully by the end of the year the JustFlight Learjet 45 Professional as well. So if you’re not a fan of the G3000/5000, there are still some great jets heading your way.

Yes!

And, let’s not forget the recently rebuilt FSW Lear 35 - a FANTASTIC steam gauge biz jet that’s available TODAY! 😁👍

A long range business jet is what id really love to see someday.

CJ Simulations is working on a Bombardier Global 7500.

They’ve so far made the Typhoon and Rafale, which are mid-range addons with good flight models.

We’ll see how they do, hopefully they’ll step up
