Saturday at 05:46 PM1 day As someone that got Argentine citizenship some years ago, I was obviously rooting for Argentina. But man, these Cabo Verde guys made us all nervous. I think I suffered this match more than even the 2022 finale, or even last week's Colombia-Portugal (which I loved, despite the result and the disallowed goal). I had heard about Vozinha's superb performance, but seeing him and all his saves against Messi left me speechless. For those who ever watched Captain Tsubasa anime, this Argentina-Cabo Verde could pass as an episode. My deepest respect to the Cabo Verde squad; they deserve to be welcomed as heroes when they get back home.The worst part was knowing that Colombia had their match immediately after. At least, Colombia won in just 90 minutes. I never thought I'd end up exhausted after watching a couple of matches, but I'm twice happy with the results.
