  1. Past hour
  2. I have to entries of WT GNS430/530 in the Content Manager. Both were installed. I even uninstalled one (the other cannot be uninstalled). I tried both possibilities, also reinstalled the BS Duke (Piston) twice including the SU15beta confirmation. Nothing works, no GNS 430/530 for my aircraft. Don't know what else I could try.
  3. Yes and no. Yes if you can intercept the glideslope from your current altitude. No if you can't. Being "cleared" for an approach without any further information means you are cleared to intercept the localizer and glideslope. Most ATC tools in the sims seem to have modelled it to be an automatic clearance to do whatever necessary to intercept, even descend on your own discretion. In most cases you should be able to intercept the localizer and the glideslope from quite above the altitude of the FAF, so you shouldn't have to descent manually anyway in those cases. Don't forget to call in "Established on final" if ATC does not hand you off to tower after the interception.
  4. I had to shut down activesky msfs to stop the lag. Anyone else having issue with activesky?
  5. Yes. Cleared for the approach means you can descend and vector as necessary to establish the approach. The only further clearance you would need is cleared to land from the tower.
  6. Yes, that is the correct one. This is not an application error. Something is missing from the .Net/C++ Runtime on your computer(s). "FileNotFound" in this state usually means a missing DLL. Did you install the latest VCRedist that I linked above (2015...2022)? Make sure to install both the x86 and the x64 variant.
  7. So that means, I'm also allowed to descent at my discretion in order to intercept the localizer and glideslope? I'm asking, because today I did get a "cleared ILS 06" from ATC but was never cleared to descent further. Never heard from ATC again until I decided to descend without clearance to intercept the ILS. This was confusing to me, because I would have expected to get further clearances to descend down to the FAF.
  8. It’s not uncertain at all. They use AI for the voices, but not the text

  10. Thanks for all of the comments and help!
  11. Last couple of flights haven’t gone particularly well to be honest. On the way into Dublin it left me too high, no vectors and then didn’t hand me off to tower at all. Still work to do.
  12. Check the Windows Event logs again. When Windows decides to shut down a process, it usually gives a reason for that. There should be two error messages, one that looks like what you posted above, and another containing a stack trace and exception text. I would need to see the stack trace. A stack trace looks something like this:
  13. And turn off rolling cache? And turn off photogrammetry?
  14. A little late to the chat, but I just came across this post and thought I'd try to help. I had the same issue with a Quest 3 when using Oculus Link, wired or Air Link. It wouldn't happen all the time but it would happen about 70% of the time and nothing would fix it using Oculus Link. When I switch to Virtual Desktop the issue went away and I was getting better FPS with the same settings. I have a 10900k and a 3090. Try Virtual Desktop, I have had a much better experience and improved performance using it for MSFS VR,
  15. Also have you tried without the NCP framerate limiter?
  16. Thanks, I'm triyng your suggestions... I don't have a folder LWR in the AppData\Local, I unistalled Lorby AAO, deleted two folders Lorby Si and another from AppData\Local, now checking register, then I'll restart and retry the installation, maybe disabling Defender. Will let you know. Mauro
  17. You are absolutely correct! The 18 FPS actually stems from older versions of Microsoft FS and has to do with the sample frequency of the gauges and inputs(being 18 per second) so if you go below 18 cycles you'd lose data. Otherwise, all you said is 100% correct
  18. Admin privileges are irrelevant for general operation. They are only required when you want to use the AAO WebAPI (for example to control a StreamDeck)
  19. My suggestion - get rid of Process Lasso. This is really not needed in MSFS and for me it caused more stuttering. I also highly recommend using the AutoFPS tool if you haven't tried that yet. It will automatically lower your LODs on approach and improve performance/stutters. Ilya
  20. Weird. I am running AAO on three different PCs and a laptop, all with Windows 11. I never had the slighest problem with that. Could it be an AntiVirus / Windows Defender problem?
  21. #RichieFly Hi, yes I do, I just installed AAO on a second PC with another fresh Win11 installation and I got the same error. In case I runned it a first time without admin privileges, what can happen? Have I to delete some register key or something? Mauro
