  1. Help, why can't i login on Insider anymore? It just keeps saying "Welcome visitor".
  2. I don't think we have to take a subscription but it won't spoil my for-pleasure for the coming product either, for what could the price per month be? Maybe 10 dollar a month or so? I surely can do without Netflix or any other monthly-subscription for a very nice and maybe close to perfect flightsim.
  3. What is whosywhammie? Can it happen to my setup or my software too? I don't want anything to fall off. Please explain.
  4. Very good. The more it gets tested the better the endproduct will be, and that's all that counts when we get our hands on it. In 10 years time there's nobody who remembers how long he had to wait, but everybody remembers how good it was 'out the box'.
  5. Maybe it's been mentioned before but i'd like to see trees moving in the wind. So when i fly i can visually see where the wind is coming from by the moving trees, and when it's storming and the trees really bent i can see what my cessna is battling with.
  6. Nice, but may i point you to the fact that one of the screenshots was upside down? 🙂
  7. I've always felt that FS9 had better aerodynamics than FSX, my flying in FS9 was smoother and felt more realistic somehow than in FSX. I don't know what they did to break that in FSX, but here's hoping we can get the "feel" of FS9 back.
  8. Not "Flight Simulator" but shorter, FS2020, because it just rolls of your tongue and it looks kinda cool.
  9. Years and years ago, i think at the time of the start of FS9, i read (probably on flightsim.com) that Bill Gates himself has always been the one that initiated and loved flightsimulators, just saying.
  10. Ha ha ha ha, that made me laugh, i truly hope for you to live that long and enjoy those cpu's then. As for me, i'll be 86 in 30 years, so maybe.....
  11. Ha ha ha ha, i can hear my girlfriend scream with her arms up in the air already: "He's gone mad, he's truly gone mad now."
  12. What i want and always have wished for in every new simulator is one thing only: Feeling the rush of speed when flying low in a fast fighter jet.
  13. Definitely not! I'd say 151.000 🙂
  14. Let's just hope we don't need 800,000. Let's just hope the forums stay silent because everybody is awsmacked and there's really almost nothing to complain about. Let's just hope Microsoft thought of everything...........and even more.
  15. I want i want i want? Three months ago or so we didn't even know we'd get a brand new flightsimulator from Microsoft. Be gratefull for what you have, for if you focus on what you don't have you'll never have enough.
  16. Well, i just hope it's an all new base code, fully prepared for building it up even further in the future, aka a fresh new start.without any backward compatibility. Nobody counted on this new flightsim anyway, it's a surprise for everybody, so i say start anew without looking back, don't spent any energy on backward compatibilty and totally focus on the possibilities now and the expected possibilities in the future. Maybe that will hurt some who invested a lot in current or past flightsims (me), but that's soon forgotten once there is a totally new and far superior product. Only my opinion ofcourse.
  17. I hope not. I'm all for a fresh new start.
  18. Wow! Beautifull! Some say you can sit on it if you're a tiny lightweight person and it'll bring you anywhere.
  19. Only now i understand "As real as it gets" was a promise. A promise they're really gonna deliver this time.
  20. Let's hope so, it'll mean the new sim is so good we immediately drop everything else.
  21. Looooong time since i've been this excited......by anything........my heart actually jumped!! Started out with FS4 up to FSX. To read that now the saga continues after all, it's almost unbelievable. Here's hoping PMDG can get some finger in the pie.
  22. No no, i didn't even think about whether this was deliberate or not. "Medieval times relived in all it's drama". I was thinking about some old paintings from centuries back, some of them showing blazing fires of churches and people fleeing and crying in the streets, just as we now saw in Paris. And with sign of the times i meant that the last 10 years or so there seems to be a tension in the air around the whole world, the world is changing, changing fast, and not for the better imho. And lately we get a lot of feedback from mother nature how we abused this planet, think of climatechange, plastic in the oceans, our hunting of elephants for ivory etc. etc. To me the burning of this ancient cathedral and especially the pictures showing it, feels almost like some sort of a sign in a very broad sense, a sign of disasters starting to happen. I hope not, but i can't deny what i feel.
