PMDG NG3 might be closer than we think?
SierraDelta replied to Nyxx's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I think that the PMDG "partnership" with Boeing ended some time ago, notice how their products are now titled PMDG 747-8, PMDG 777-200 etc. -
Click Library in the left column. Typically, it will be C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Roaming\Parallel 42\ChasePlane\

Anyone know where I can edit the add-ons list?
SierraDelta replied to captain420's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
... and you shouldn't. The A320-X installer should have placed an entry looking like this: [Package.X] Path=D:\P3D AddOns\FSLabs Title=FSLabs Aircraft Family Active=TRUE Required=FALSE into the add-ons.cfg in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5, but apparently didn't. Did you run the installer with admin priveleges and re-boot when prompted during the process? -

Anyone that has read the FAQ: https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015204020-Microsoft-Flight-Simulator-Pre-order-FAQ will know that you'll need one license per PC. -
P3D aircraft in MSFS 2020
SierraDelta replied to dave2013's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
But did they really say FSX and P3D? I only remember FSX legacy mode (or words to that effect) being mentioned. I could, however, very well be wrong ... -

MSFS Tutorial or Set-Up Guide

Very likely, so what? LM places quite a few things on C:\ drive when you install P3D. -

Not that difficult. Before installing: Go to Win 10 Settings Type "storage" in the search box From the results, select Storage settings Locate the "Change where new content is saved" link and select your preferred drive. -

I agree, that 172 had me baffled as well, but I think you're right - probably a good, old 172 without any electronic gizmos.

Best practices for P3D addon consolidation and organization?
SierraDelta replied to captain420's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
The installer(s) take care of that automatically. I have not had to do any editing post-installation Concerning D:\ vs F:\ - the F:\ drive is slower than the D:\, which is an SSD. So, all (well, almost all) the important stuff goes on D:\, where as the add-on.xmls are on the slower F:\, no big problem since they are only read at P3D start-up. I just realised that the ASP3D "connector" is in F:\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons, but that was probably my own fault, I'll change that when the next Beta is available. -
Best practices for P3D addon consolidation and organization?
SierraDelta replied to captain420's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
No, my FSLabs aicraft reside in D:\Prepar3d v5 AddOns, P3D itself in D:\Prepar3D v5. My default P3D add-ons folder is on my F: drive in F:\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons and this is where all the add-on.xml files go. I've had it like that for years, in fact one of the first things that I always do on a new Windows installation is to move the Documents, Downloads, Music , Pictures and Videos folders away from the C:\ drive. -

Aaron, Although Keven will make an appearance here now and then, please note that this forum - as well as the //42 forum on Orbx - are clearly labelled as User-to-User, so the best bet for a response from the devs would be to submit a ticket here: https://parallel42.freshdesk.com/support/home
