  1. No - not at all. Brute forcing is still my preferred way to trouble free performance 😉
  2. Just timed mine, 1:59 till the Main Menu Paused while selecting airport and gate (Inibuilds EGLL, 509), then another 26 seconds to load the Fenix A320, absolutely acceptable in my book. My community folder contains: - AIG (about 200 airlies) - Fenix A320 - GSX Pro - Navigraph - Rex Accuseason Advanced - The Mobiflight-event-module (used by Fenix2GSX) - 2 airports (Inibuilds EGLL, Simwings GCTS)
  3. Oops - my mistake. I thought I was responding to G-RFRY’s thread about cableless PC builds …
  4. Not correct, ASUS has this one coming: https://rog.asus.com/graphics-cards/graphics-cards/rog-strix/rog-strix-rtx4090-o24g-btf-gaming/
  5. Spirit Aerospace build the fuselages and deliver them with the plugs installed to Boeing. During final assembly Boeing employees remove the plugs to facilitate installation of seats and other interior. Plugs are re-installed at the end of this process. It’s all points strongly to shoddy workmanship and QA at Boeing.
  6. Actually, you used it before it appeared on flightsim.to on 9 Jan. (v1.1.7), but you have videos showing it on your channel that go back about a week before that - go figure…
  7. This is from the Fenixsim KB: Microsoft Store: C:\Users<user_name>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ Steam: C:\Users<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\ Open SimConnect.xml and change the setting of all MaxClients entries to 128 and save. Then launch and see if the issue is resolved.
  8. Naaah - some, maybe. Definitely not everyone 🙂
  9. But... per your last post in the lockup thread you use a mix of BGL and AIGFP plans? Might be a clue there?
  10. Well, there actually is one about the latest survey: … but it hasn’t really ruffled anyone’s feathers, so I guess that’s why they showed up here?
  11. I just renewed before the holidays, but I must admit that I seriously considered not renewing ... We'll see how things work out in the new year, but I'm not too hopeful.
  12. Yes - at the MSFS Support site … https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018563420-VR-FAQ
  13. I'm confused? Mid-November you posted this in the P3D section when discussing the 737 MAX: "Yes, last aircraft I tried to use with MFS 2020... I tried hard to like that sim, just as I did with XP12, but both failed miserably 😕 I am glad I can finally feel happy with a flightsim again... It's been decades - literally !!!" So are you now back trying to like MSFS? 😀

  15. No Packages folder for me: InstalledPackagesPath "D:\MSFS" and then I have: D:\MSFS\Community D:\MSFS\Official Has been like that since August 2020.
  16. This has been known for a while, reason is the poor RealTraffic there and elsewhere. Here’s the last post in a thread on the subject:
  17. David, I see this on occasions, so you’re not alone. Unfortunately, I’ve not been able to reproduce this consistently so -mas you - I’m a bit in the dark as to why it happens …
  18. From the Alpha-India.net site: (my bolding) Presets: Together with this update we provide a full set of presets for the world. Allowing users to quickly install the major airlines for each continent. No more need to select the airlines you want from the ever growing list of airlines.
  19. Check at about the 3 minute mark in this video:
  20. Same processor as you. I run with HT Off and 8 Efficiency cores, so 8+8. MSFS runs brilliantly, temp is around 60 celsius.
