  1. I don't know if I would want it. I don't even know what this is supposed to improve. The default weather engine does a decent job for GA flying, but it would be great to find more details in higher flight levels. Does Opus for X-Plane bring winds and temps aloft ? Is it available for GNU/Linux ?
  2. FTX Vector is a default feature in X-Plane. You'll even find a lot more vectors like small streets and rivers. If you want a more detailed mesh and land-class and more up to date vectors, just visit this website: http://www.alpilotx.net/ You'll find HD sceneries for Europe, North America, New Zealand, and soon Japan. If you want photo sceneries and OpenStreetMap buildings, you can visit these pages: http://world2xplane.com/ http://www.simheaven.com/ http://www.truscenery.com/ http://www.realscenery.com/ You'll find more links here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/292180/discussions/0/45350791795260326/ Screenshots here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/444916-flying-with-world2xplane/ http://forum.avsim.net/topic/445204-having-fun-with-the-blackshape-prime/ Happy flying !
  3. We're lucky: the support for X-Plane Carenado planes is outstanding.
  4. Here's more about X-Plane 10 on Steam: http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/6994-x-plane-10-coming-to-steam-in-10-days/#entry76166 http://steamcommunity.com//sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=201361798
  5. Nice reviews for the CT206H are available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kR3spz1twU
  6. Thank you all for the comments ! B) Yes this plane is a real joy.
  7. Great sim, great plane, stunning shots ! :Applause:
  8. If it was an early Oculus Rift model, it's just made to become sick: poor precision and bad latency for head movement tracking, persistence and low resolution on the screens. I'm sure in future versions this sickness problem will be fixed. But we'll still look ridiculous while using it. I just can't wait for this.
  9. Awesome setup ! :Applause: But I'll wait for the announced X-Plane Oculus Rift support. This should be more WAF friendly.
  10. If they built this joystick with potentiometers, it will just die in a few months like every joystick with potentiometers. If you want a more precise and reliable joystick, search for optical or magnetic sensors. Ask the vendor for the technology, the resolution and latency on all the axes and don't trust vendors who are only describing the case. I can't believe they're still selling potentiometers today, in the 21th century.
  11. Sometimes you need to check if you have the latest version. I buy all my Carenado planes on the www.carenado.com store. Just go to your store and download it again if you have an old version. My latest screen shots with Carenado planes: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/444916-flying-with-world2xplane/
  12. Be careful and get a license from Honda before considering using their name for publishing a flight simulation add-on. It was available for FlightGear: http://www.gamepolitics.com/2014/06/03/honda-jet-removed-flightgear-after-trademark-complaint
