Ricardo41 replied to Mets737's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I recall a freeware version on flightsim.to -
Navigraph plugins for WT G3000 and G5000 are out

The Cirrus Vision Jet - after AAU1 being out close to 7 months - is still on the old version of the Garmin suite. -
Leaving aside their absurdely stupid pricing model (Patreon), I bought their soundset for the default Longitude, which didn't work anymore after the AAU1 upgrade, tried to contact the developer via their discord channel. No reply.

Works like a charm in the Longitude (I'm on the Beta version of MSFS) -

I'm sure the developer of the H-Jet will add this feature quickly, the Vision jet, I'm not so sure - they still haven't even upgraded it to the AAU1 package. -

Is this already available on the H-Jet and the Cirrus Vision Jet out of the box? -

What Does MSFS Do Best?

MSFS does everything better than everything in every other sim. -
PILOT’s announces the Citation X+ for MSFS
Ricardo41 replied to The Flight Level's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
..and sad at the same time. Eaglesoft developers made great products but a lot of, or so it seems, terrible business decisions. Or, they just ran out of steam.... Some of Ron Hamilton's comments in the thread linked above read like they were written by a robot who went to a screening of Avatar The Way of Water. -
With this installed, is there still a need for Aerosoft's Simple Traffic?

PILOT’s announces the Citation X+ for MSFS
Ricardo41 replied to The Flight Level's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I agree. What would this Citation X offer that the Longitude doesn't? Leaving aside the different specs. You would really need to hit a home run for me to buy this: top class visuals, inside and out, everything that moves and can be opened on the real plane also opens and moves in the sim, highly detailed luxury cabin, outstanding avionics package. Basically, no "INOP" at all. Full Navigraph and simbrief integration, state of the art EFB, etc. - now, that I would buy and pay good money for. What I don't want is another Cockspur Citation Mustang. -

Reminded me of all the nice planes that Eaglesoft Development Group used to make. A shame they went under. -
What settings are folks with mid range PCs using with FSTL?

Not-a-pilot, not-a-dev user's last wishes for MSFS
Ricardo41 replied to bofhlusr's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Completely disagree. You must be playing a different simulator, or you haven't setup the simulator correctly. My current plane: Flysimware Chancellor Cessna 414 --> where is the "toy" effect. Can't find it. The Fenix A320 --> where is the "toy" effect? The Citation Longitude AAU1 --> where is the "toy" effect? -
Flightsim.to down since yesterday!!

Works just fine. -
Bobby, is that you? 😉

Given the talent of the WT guys, I can see PMDG getting a little nervous......😁
-
Huh?

Lemme see if I get this all correctly lined up: 1) WT release a beta of a set of complex avionics 2) People start bellyaching about "bugs" Dunno, see 1)🤔
