If you are using Ezdok try this Open up C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Cameras.cfg and change ClipMode=Minimum to ClipMode=normal in the following section [CameraDefinition.201] Title = EZCA VC cam let us know how you get on.

I agree with your observation with GEX. The colours are not even close especially in Europe. Said as much back in the day and was told by Nick needham that I needed to buy a $400 calibration tool for my monitor as he had mastered the textures on a "high end" professional monitor and they obviously would not look right on my low end monitor until it was calibrated, Deleted GEX at that point and never gave him a penny since. Fact remains that the colouration of the FTX Global textures was never reworked when they were ported over to P3D and look entirely different under P3D's lighting, much worse in my view but still light years better than GEX, does the HDR adjustability help any to bring them back to how they looked in FSX ?

FTX Global was made for and is tonally suited to FSX, under P3D 2.5 the colours looked totally different either with or without HDR. Does the adjustable HDR in P3D fix this or do they still looked overexposed relative to FSX.

I wanted a good rendition of the Lightning for years and this is it, I have the F3 version and will get the F6 in due course. The Aerosoft Lightning F3/F6 and the superb Just Flight Canberra PR9 are a real treat for those that enjoy this particular era of British aviation.

Does the GFDevFSX.exe data bridge launch manually, if it does then run it via Fsuipc's run command. If that won't work hopefully you've still got your Win7 DVD ?

Thanks Jarkko, I will try that. I bought ProATC/X yesterday and so far it seems that this program is moving in the right direction. Hopefully at some point the author will write a menu display utility similar to Showtext for those of who network our ATC. One other thing that would be really nice is consistency of keypresses on the onscreen menu, at the moment they change around ie to acknowledge a request can be either 2 or 3 which makes voice control of the program hard to implement. Liking it so far though.

Audio Environment will not detect MT6 if MT6 is installed in its default directory ie outside the root FSX folder. What I did was move the MT6 folder back inside the FSX root folder then run Audio environment to install the sounds, after that move MT6 back to its original folder. works well.

Now this has my interest, I would love to see a screenshot of the ATC info on the moving map, this feature may be all I need.

What I would like is the text displayed in a window on the client machine not the FSX main screen. like showtext by rob van de wiele does for RC4. Apparently this can be done via a Lua script, Pete Dowson uses this method and I am trying to get my head around his script at the moment.

Are there any plans to have the text output able to be displayed on a networked machine ? RC4 and PFE can do this and it is nicer than cluttering up the main Sim display with text.

Which other ATC programs have you used extensively ?

For someone who is "100% Vatsim" I am surprised you are getting yourself so bunched up about RC4's registration procedure, it is what it is, and it's probably not going to change at this point in the programs life. Looking at my email records I ordered RC4 on the 20th December 2005 and was advised that delivery would be in 2-4 weeks (the youngsters here would never believe this LOL) That's almost ten years of usage for £26.50 and until something significantly better comes along it's probably going to be in use for a long time yet. I think we can all agree that the registration could be simpler but if the alternative is JD folding the tent and walking away, I for one will happily put up with what we have now.

I have always got a key for RC4 promptly, the automated key delivery has always worked for me, the procedure is seamless as long as you can follow some simple instructions. And yes the last new car I bought I did have to wait more than 7 days for delivery from the factory.

Looking at the Facebook shots it seems that the Lear has no glass in the windows. Please tell me it's not true, no reflective glass in the cockpit is a deal breaker for me. I was dismayed after buying the C441 finding that it had no glass in the windows unlike the C402 which has very well done reflections. So does it have glass or not ?
