    Clouds look ok to me. I have always seen the pixellation there and really just let it slide. Sometimes you get some jawdropping stuff out there. PS can we try and avoid clickbait post titles? It's really annoying, no offence though.

    Hi sorry about that, never intended to slag anyone off or give that impression. I have been playing with ini files for some months but will take a further look. I agree that the problem is not the freeware mods you have produced.

    I'm still seeing massive runway incursions daily, planes not holding short, planes taking off in opposite direction to me when landing, overtaking me on finals you name it. And that's with running AIGround and AIFlow too.

    They are very nice yes. I do get a little annoyed that most developers seem to do animated people that clearly walk in circles if you watch them long enough. I understand looped animations but they could hide it a little better.

    It's crazy now, the rig I bought in 2021 cost $3.5k with a 3070, and now a similar level purchase with a 4090 would cost 8k.

    I run at 1440p and have observed max Vram in the range of 12-13Gb

    The 4090 + FG has opened up literally EVERY corner of MSFS for me now. I can happily fly into the previously forbidden Newark NJ with Manhattan and JFK/LGA to my left and get 50fps. It has made all the difference. It will take everything thrown at it now.

    It's sitting there in my Steam folder so I guess I must have used Marketplace. Notoriously slow to update.

    That issue or blurry glass cockpits with DX12/DLSS cleared up for me a long time ago.

    I have the registered FSUIPC7 but I have never been brave enough to mess with it for controllers above and beyond using the MSFS controller profiles I have made for each plane I use.

    Wow I just worked out I have had my TrackIR for almost 20 years.... Crazy. I couldn't be without it, to be honest.

    If it's still worth some advice - START SLOW. Buy one payware jet that you know well. Like the PMDG which is still the same high quality. Fly that jet between some default airports in areas you like to use, get used to the sim and the weather features, etc. Out of the box, MSFS is really great due to the bing maps and photogrammetry built in. Default airports are very good this time round. Then find one or two airports you'd like to upgrade. Do it slowly! There's no rush !

    I look forward to the finished product down the line. I loved flying the MD-11 on FSX, it just was so much fun, a great balance between old and new.
