  1. Nice to know these are coming. The 787 would be great to get working better. I still can't use it even with the HD787 mod. The Salty 747 is in great shape now and this update would really make it even better.
  2. I have used a profile for 15 years called "Optimised Flight" and can send you this. It might be on the website too.
  3. I've never used any sort of ATC ever from the get-go. It's always been a let down to me.
  4. If FS2Crew do a release for it, I'm in definitely. Looks great to get into nice smaller flights
  5. 9 hrs in the Salty747 the other day. I let it run at Simrate1. Went well, pretty smooth. The Salty mod is getting better and better.
  6. Looks like the calculator says the 12700k with the 3090 is exactly equal ie 0% bottleneck (running an UW 3440x1440)
  7. I've just learnt over the years to ignore what the AI does. The "remove nearby traffic" button is very useful.
  8. Are you using PG in Los Angeles? There's 10 miles of PG loading in every direction when you're landing in LA, I feel this is more what causes the stutters. Same with NYC.
  9. There's been 6 or 7 updates in recent months. It works very well now. Never experienced any bugs with it.
  10. It's a tough one, I tend to agree with @Ricardo41. I have been tempted by the 4090 and have backed away from the edge a number of times 🙂 I'm at 1440p with 50-60fps in cruise and 30's on approach/taxi so when you consider all that, it's probably a waste of money right now. Don't forget: Nvidia want us to be dazed and confused with all the marketing BS. It's not like Xbox. They exploit the fact that PC systems are infinitely different and bombard us with ray-traced DLSS videos of Cyberpunk 2077.
  11. Could be a tick box in the settings? There's a lot of options there. Odd, it never does that for me. Once I disconnect, it stays out.
  12. Stunning work. The FBW is a great addon and is a joy to fly.
  13. Thanks, I have been focused on A320's for ages that I missed that there's now a Headwind installer and a HD787 web page ! Very nice.
  14. I think they're so close you can;t tell any difference. The FBW has a better EFB if you ask me, it's just simple and effective. Both planes are great.
  15. I bought it and have had a nice flight or two there from London. Nice quality upgrade and performs well in very bad weather and rain. Hopefully this v201 I have just seen will fix those small things. I’ll look for it in the orbx app later.
  16. I don't know how they move so fast with such high quality. They have a large team of modellers, artists and compilers/coders, very streamlined methods and highly coordinated delivery model I think.
  17. I'm not a fan at all really. Not so much the point lights but the repetitive "blobs" everywhere are a bit of a buzz kill. On that note, is there anything like in FSX where you can use different light textures for point lights and airport lights ie large or small star shape lighting that has more of a sparkle? The old Active Sky used to give you that ability to change these.
  18. I've seen that there for some time. I have always had it ON+BOOST. I think I saw it recommended somewhere to use that setting.
  19. Won't get in front of this update until later tonight (am at work here) but looks like I am seeing positive comments generally across the board.
  20. I think everything is going to update so sit back and let it happen. Another over-dramatic announcement
  21. Hi, As a habit, I take a few screenshots of every flight I do and I am continually stunned by the jaw dropping things I see around the world. Here's 20 examples of why we keep doing this. Enjoy.
  22. I have been a FS2Crew user for ages now and without it, the flight just seems so quiet. I have both A320 versions for Fenix and the FBW which has allowed me to fly with both addons quite extensively. The Fenix was my go to for the last 3 or 4 months but I have seen many updates come through for the FBW Experimental version so thought i'd take that one up again and I have been so impressed now to see that the difference between FBW and Fenix is so marginal you can't even see it now. With FS2Crew I think the overall better experience is in the FBW ( plus I think FBW gives a few more frames). I realize both addons are different in terms of what FS2Crew can pull out data-wise eg takeoff speeds and other CDU data for briefings. It all seems much more integrated on FBW The PMDG is a different one again, equally as good but works well in its own way. Here's a video of a landing in Athens in case you have not seen FS2Crew at work. {Coincidentally, when the FO here gives the quick crew PA for the "perpare for landing" at 1000ft it sounds like the US first officer in FS2Crew, some nice lucky continuity there} FBWA320 Landing into Athens (FS2Crew, FSRealistic, FT Athens)
