My PERF INIT load from the FMC is always way off compared to Simbrief/OFP numbers (Cruise, CI etc) It also drops my Navigraph account requiring another QR scan. Will see if that happens next flight too.

This tablet works great. Does what it says. I have to say I'm a recent convert to using the Navigraph in-tablet charts instead of the toolbar app window now. All the calculators work nice and the options are not too elaborate and overly cluttered. METAR has no issues in my location.

Agree, behaviour-wise it's all over the place but I can let that go as it's an immersion thing for me and I'm not trying to be a news chopper. I only really pick it up as I come in to land. Maybe it's my new 4090 but 100 % traffic setting is really not giving any fps away which surprises me. Originally traffic was the first thing they told you to turn off.

Has something good (optimisation) been done to the road traffic over the past few SU's? I originally thought these were fps hogs and turned it down to 5 however in recent testing I cannot see any fps difference now between 5 and 100 in most areas around the world.

I just wish he wouldn't go back to "hands on knees" so much between each action as it looks pretty robotic. But it's difficult to model things like this. Looks better than I thought though

Yeah some FSLTL and was just live weather, light cloud. A lot of the INI scenery candy was turned off, I'm not real big on all the landside and interior stuff and you never really see it. It's so hard to bench this kind of thing as we are all running different.

I checked my VRAM as follows' Fenix and IniBuilds KJFK 3440x1440 res so not one of the "K's" DX12 and RTX4090 24Gb TLOD 250 It peaked at 12Gb VRAM use I'll have to go flying and push it harder and see.

It's interesting I think as 4090's start to become more common we are seeing perfect simming performance, however people then ramp up their settings and erode this performance away. Addons are jamming so much landside stuff, 10,000 cars, people etc and then airsdie "clutter" is common now, and the 4090's make us all love to switch that stuff on and before you know it we'll be complaining about low fps again.

Given it's a tiny airport and not a mega hub, if there was performance issues here I'd be very surprised. Edit --- Have bought and now flown a very gusty 25kt approach into 31L, very nice, a couple of stutters when the Skywest Hanger loads and the Air Museum right before touchdown but generally 60fps all the way in.

It seems like PMDG thinks there is literally complete Beatle-mania out there with every mere mention of an obscure electronic flight bag addon for a very niche PC flight sim. If it didn't get pushed out automatically via the app, I wouldn't be exactly rushing to get it.

Hi OP here. Yeah I didn’t realize there was a specific issue with EIDW. That part is a coincidence here. I seem to see this all over FS. Just a general lack of confidence that the right runway will be operating when you arrive to land. Even though all the information suggests it is. I do use the traffic remover sometimes mainly if I have a plane overtake me on approach. By the time I can see what’s happening on the runway it’s too late to use it.

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I'm inbound to Dublin EIDW. The wind is from 130deg. The Live ATC chatter is saying landings on 10L.... MSFS ATC (when I get in range) clears me for 10L. I'm like great everything's agreeing here! Then on short final I get a plane taking off straight at me....

Yes this is the way I set up my throttles as the Fenix throttle behaves slightly differently to the PMDG and again for the 747 etc so you can have each one saved there.

I just installed a 4090 today (was on a 3070ti) and have been messing around. Did a Fenix flight out of KJFK IniB and it didn't move from 80 fps. I am gobsmacked so far and it's only a few hours old.

I've been having similar issues in recent days. Flights would CTD with a small error box. Looked like maybe my FS Drive (980pro) was failing. Sometimes recently I'd be getting CTD in the Fly loading screen. Seems to have cleared up now after Nvidia update but that's a guess. This has happened after all the major SU updates and it generally sorts itself out after a few days each time I have found. Can never pinpoint the exact thing though.

I couldn't care what the AI does, as long as it's generally moving around and giving me the sense of a working airport.

It's funny what can happen sometimes. Out of nowhere several days ago I started getting a strange graphic anomaly - no planes shown in the aircraft selection menu, or in the hanger when you go to options. Real weird as I never added or changed anything, plus a regular CTD was happening about 75% through the Fly loading screen, in Normal and Safe modes. It appeared I could not access my M.2 980pro either (community folder) and it was throwing an error at me. Nothing made sense. Had me super scared I was off down the MSFS reinstall route. Had already updated the Nvidia drivers, I was already googling the reinstall procedure. So in a final attempt at something, I unplugged the case, vacuumed it out and re-seated all the connections, plugged all USB's back in and it all came good like nothing had ever happened. The moral? Before re-installing, don't rule out something crazy with your connections. I think my cleaners had come in the other day and maybe aggressively dusted the back of the PC and semi-dislodged a USB connection which was enough to throw the entire system out of whack. Really bizarre, it looked like the whole thing was going down.

I have always found that the push and pull is always there but if you don't hover exactly over the 1 pixel they give you then it can get frustrating quick
