  6. Since quite a while many object details only show up (pop in) when very very close to it. Most noticeable are missing wheels at ai planes, runway and taxiway boundary lights, windsocks and some other small airport objects. At least it would be nice to have an extra slider for this purpose. Current Terrain and Objects LOD settings don't have any influence on those objects.   8. I continued watching another 30 minutes and saw at least 5 other landings at KPDX including one go around. One problem I see is that landed a/c are staying too long on the runway. Another issue, some a/c disappear after landing.
  9. Yes, I do. Just right now I saw one a/c landing at KPDX 28L. And a second one 9 minutes later.
  10. I have installed it very recently and so far I'm very happy with it. I'm using it with SU11 beta and AIG. I had two short beautiful flights: From Marseille (France) to Genoa (Italy) and from Genoa to Venice with lots of add-ons in these areas. Everything went fine and I saw enough traffic on ground and airborne (above and below me). No issues, except a stutter here and then. If MS/ASOBO continues to rerwork their ai engine, we will have shiny simulated skies and airports ... One small issue remains. With FR24 as the database from where the traffic is generated from, I will never be able to see "realistic" ai traffic in Eastern Australia or New Zealand at noon or early afternoon. On the other hand, with AIG and its injector time shift is easy and because the flight plans rely more or less on RW plans, this will be close enough to reality.
  11. I think I have understood most of it. But wouldn't it be better to disable generics in general. If I'd choose B738/A320 as generics, wouldn't it show wrong liveries here and then, for example Ryan Air in Vancouver or Westjet in Salzburg ... And to disable the Asobo generics, where would I find these models?

  13. Why would it be an endless task. If you have lets say 256 add-ons in your community you should find it it in 8 attempts.
  14. I can't see any difference either. Currently, I leave it off because MSFS isn't a low latency game imo. Additionally, every fps gain usually comes with a quality penalty. Perhaps, others know more about this new in-game setting and MSFS had a good reason to introduce it.
  15. Probably not. I have GAIST and the latest driver together with many add-ons in SU11 beta, no issues.
  16. I feel a bit insure to admit that I have not experienced any issues with SU11 Beta as they have been reported here and in the MSFS forums. I did as usual, disabled all my add-ons with Addon Linker. Run MSFS (MS store version with a separate content drive) installing all SU11 updates. Then re-activated my add-ons block wise, first all libraries and worldwide content, which includes GAIST v2, a-puf-we-love-vfr-regions, a-mamudesign add-ons, etc. No problems detected. Then I added all my other scenery add-ons continent by continent. In the end, I have now several hundreds add-ons running with SU11 Beta. Regarding aircraft, I have not tested so many, only TBM 930 (with WT G3000) and PMDG 738.

  18. Same here. I did a small research about DLSS 3 and 3000 video cards. As said above, DLSS 3 is exclusively for 4000 cards, but NV officials also mentioned that 3000 cards could benefit from the technique too at least in DLSS3 games. I'm not sure if I understand this correctly. Anyway, I'll stick with my 3090/12900 system until I switch to 5090/XXXX (AMD) ...

  20. Oh yes it is, at least in some areas like Vancouver and Toronto. Already admitted by MSFS that there might be problems with WU11 as they reacted in the MSFS forums.
  21. If you like to fly in the Canadian Rockies I suggest Banff improvement mod which includes the airport and surroundings, Banff Lake Louis water fix (WU11), Jasper airport scenery and B.C. mesh. All available for free at flightsim.to. For me water issues at Banff and Jasper area went away with these add-ons. The peaks of Alberta Rockies are still too rounded, but for B.C. Rockies the mesh helps quite a bit. Edit: Thanks for this useful thread to @Bert Pieke

  23. It is on my "small annoyances" list too.
  24. This problem exists since quite some time. 3D objects of runway and tax signs show up very late when you just approaching them, often in a distance of only 30-40 feets. Nothing what we can do. It is not TLOD or PG related and I doubt it is a server problem.
