  1. Not to burst your bubble, but the 777 was released in September.
  2. Could someone please make this white-nose Virgin Blue 737 (VH-VUW)? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RjXK9BR_dFQ/UCHwa2QjdMI/AAAAAAAAEAk/1m01c8FxsaE/s1600/VHVUW+B738+080812+white+nose.jpg Thanks!
  3. Hi Al, sorry for the late reply but I haven't been paying attention to this topic for a few days. I don't have failures enabled. Strangely enough this problem always happens about a minute after landing regardless of what I'm doing. Also, the engine appears to be determined to stay off, because if I fire it up again, it'll just fail once more.
  4. Oops, my bad. Thanks for the correction, Aaron!
  5. I can't find a SPAD profile for either, so they might not work out of the box. If you want to fly straight away without trying anything or configuring SPAD, you're stuck with default aircraft for those panels.
  6. Aerosoft has just started this three day sale in recognition of Presidents Day in the US. The sale is pretty big, ranging from the Huey to XPX. Download versions are also included for some products.
  7. Hi all, I'm watching S05E11 of Ice Pilots NWT, and they feature a very special DC-6- the "Swingtail" version. Basically, the tail opens up 90 degrees, much like a Dreamlifter. Will PMDG be including this in the upcoming DC-6? It might be difficult to model COMPLETELY accurately given that only two were ever converted to swingtail models and there's only one left flying- the Buffalo Airways one (N434TA). Just a thought, but it would be a neat little feature in the 6!
  8. Thanks for the update Robert. Can't wait to fly around in the ANZ special liveries! By the way, (This might just be my limited 777-300ER knowledge), what do you mean by "Cantilever"?
  9. Just to add to the excitement, they might make two extra liveries on top of the three special ones, brining it up to the following- -Air New Zealand "old" livery- blue tail and pacific wave on fuselage -Air New Zealand new livery- Black tail and no wave on the fuselage -Air New Zealand "Hobbit" ZK-OKP -Air New Zealand "All Blacks" ZK-OKQ -Air New Zealand "Hobbit-The Desolation of Smaug" ZK-OKO
  10. Oh yes! I didn't think ZK-OKP would have been painted by PMDG! Can't wait. They posted on their Facebook page that they also painted ZK-OKQ, the All Blacks livery 77W.
  11. Apologies for bringing this back up again, but am I the only one to have experienced this issue?
  12. If you look down on the pedestal, there's a HUD control panel there. Check if it's not in "Blank" mode (indicated by a little green light next to the word "Blank")
  13. Reading about this add-on, it looks like it's the last word in Beechcraft technology. I think I'll pre order it; this should be fantastic for some Australian outback flying.

This happens when the aircraft is reloaded without closing FSX and reloading everything first. This is caused by the complexity of the 777, and I don't think this can be fixed. P.S. You posted this topic nine times. Please don't press the "Post" button multiple times.
  15. I'd go for a large, complex, long haul airliner, so probably an A380, 747 or 777. A380 would be the most likely.
  16. Simulator-wise, my favourite long hauler is the 777. In real life, my favourite is the A380.
  17. So I've been flying around recently with this golden add-on, and after every landing, something strange happens- the number 2 engine shuts down by itself. I can't find a solution- the FO is disabled, there is ample fuel, I didn't press any hardware buttons.. Has anyone ever encountered/solved this issue, and if so, how? Thanks in advance.
  18. To the best of my knowledge, the mouse scroll can't be used at all in any PMDG 747. This is because it is quite an old add-on, and the mouse scroll feature was first introduced on the MD11 IIRC.
  19. First thing that comes to mind is ANZ135/136- it's three hours each way between Brisbane and Auckland. The flight is normally operated by either a 777-200ER or a 77W, and occasionally they'll send a 744 or 767. Another one I just came up with is Seattle to Los Angeles- that takes about 2h40m.
  20. This sale is very tempting! I've been looking around for a good piston pounder. I think I'll take this one.
  21. Why don't we make "AIRBUS A3XX" the latest addition to the wall of shame? There's also the option to report him to the administrators. EDIT: Oops, I didn't see Tom's post above. My bad.
  22. They even wrote "For customer support and/or technical support or product questions, please see the support tab at the top of this page". The thing is, there IS no support tab at the top of their page!
