  1. I had it plugged in to my yoke too. I've got FSX running now, so I'll go take a look and see if that was it. Thanks! EDIT: That seems to have solved it! Thanks again!
  2. Hi, I have just recieved the Saitek Multi Panel. Straight away, I went into SPAD and configured it to the NGX special mode. However, this created an error: The readout on the panel keeps on switching between the NGX readout (starting at 100 knots and 10000 feet) and the default multi panel readout (starting at 0 knots and 0 feet). This means that whenever I turn the rotary knob, the readout switches rapidly between both types of readouts. For example, if I twist the knob to select speed 200, the readout will rapidly go from 100 to 200 and end up staying on one of them. I should add that I am using SPAD with the NGX special mode via the unregistered FSUIPC. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
  3. Finally a good 737 Classic. Can't wait!
  4. FTX Global will be on sale one day. It's not on sale now because it's newer.
  5. That is indeed a very good documentary. I'm hoping that PMDG will include the 747-400ER as it is very rare (only six produced, all for Qantas) and it would be interesting simulating the differences between the -400 and -400ER (Newer flight deck technology etc.)
  6. Most AU airports appear to also be at that price. I agree though, CZST is a pretty fine deal for such a detailed airport!!
  7. I'm thinking of getting the DC-3 and Constellation. They both look really nice and I need some old radial airliners in my hangar.
  8. Oops, I thought I was in the FSX forum... my bad.
  9. Which C-46 is this? Nice repaint, Luis!
  10. I suggest you submit a support ticket to support.precisionmanuals.com. They should be able to find a solution if you submit the error numbers. By the way, are you sure that you MUST unregister the 777 to install it on another PC? I've changed PCs quite a few times and never unregistered any PMDG product (up to the NGX back then). All went well.
  11. If you love to fly airliners, learn them from top to bottom and spend an hour preparing them for a flight, you'll find your money's worth in the T7. However, if you aren't prepared to spend hours learning the systems in the sim and from the manuals, you'll probably find that it is not for you and otherwise overpriced for what you got out of it. In my opinion, it's well worth 200% of the price if you use it to its maximum potential.
  12. Lately I've been watching Ice Pilots NWT. It's really interesting and has me excited for the DC-6  . Otherwise, I'll probably read PC Pilot or just browse Avsim.
  13. Definitely advanced animations. I had this problem a few years back and it was traced down to the advanced animations being off.
  14. Nice! Looks like a pretty fun flight to do. How long did it take you?
  15. My first sim was FS98. I can't believe how many hours I spent just flying the C172 around Meigs!
  16. The Airbus X Extended is easier, but you still have to program the MCDU. You just have to learn the Autopilot knobs and their push-pull functions. Once you get the hang of it, you can get it flying in no time. The Captain Sim is harder because of all the bugs that you have to deal with. Oh, and the Airbus Extended is better.
  17. Airbus X Extended is pretty complex. I would say that it's probably halfway between Qualitywings and PMDG complexity. However, Flightsimlabs' A320 should be a masterpiece, given the incredible work they did on the Concorde. They modelled every system, including the flight engineer's panel on the most complex aircraft ever to take to the skies so they should absolutely master an aircraft that is half as complex.
  18. I'll give it a try, thanks!
  19. The Legacy is also on sale- 14.95 Euro until January first.
  20. Hi, Does anyone know where one can find a fully functional Canadair CL215, complete with water scoop and drop? I've been watching Ice Pilots NWT and those things look like a lot of fun to fly. Thanks in advance.
  21. IMHO, the only cabin feature shown in the video that will make it to commercial service is the Boeing Sky Interior. Does anyone remember the ads for the 787 and 747-8? They showed large screens, huge amounts of space and those empty spaces in the galleys. If you look in a 748 or 787 today, the interior is just the same thing as a 777-200ER or 747-400 (Apart from the ceiling). The new birds might be capable of housing all those features, but the airlines will eliminate them for space.
  22. This is pretty interesting! 1. PMDG 777 2. REX 2.0 (I'm familiar with the interface, don't judge me  ) 3. FTX AU GOLD 4. ORBX YBBN
  23. Well, at least you're paying about 250 million less than if it was a real 744
  24. PMDG 777 I still have to get all the other goody goodies from this year...
