Thanks for the advice Dan unfortunately still no luck, I have checked the add-ons.cfg and the SODE entry is added so i'm at a loss. I have changed my key command to shift+J if i do get it working, Good advice

Ok its only a little bug but still.... I Installed SODE 1.5.3 for KMSP and activated it, Ran Flightbeam manager activated SODE jetways, Gate 4 KMSP PMDG 747 no Jetways will work. No triggerable objects within 6.5nm same at every heavy gate I tested the dll connection through the addon tab and it said it was working. I also looked in the dll.xml and exe.xml files in /programdata there is no entry for SODE. It seems to be a very easy programe to install but it has me stumped, am i missing something obvious? Thanks to anyone that can help

In your LM account there is a + or - symbol before the full installer link click that and a drop down menu appears and just choose to download the client. Sorry not on PC at moment so can't post a screenshot

Spent a while last night brushing up on my cold and dark starts last night, I went to practice some more tonight and every time i tried to load cold and dark from left CDU it triggered crash detection, It only worked twice so far tonight, once was when i tried it on the runway at the default P3D Runway and a heavy gate at Barcelona LEBL . It crashed at KMCO. KJFK, and EIDW My 777 1.10.8363 is up to date and running V4 P3D. Anyone got any ideas, is it a known problem? i searched here for a while before posting but could only find FMC/CTD problems this is not a CDT problem BTW KMCO is where i was using last night without incident.

Everyone who is serious about this hobby should buy V4 or XP11 My theory is while LM aren't short on cash flow, the 3rd party developers need to know there is plenty of V4 customers to support the platform I feel the same about XP11. Cash flow maybe more important to them then LM but they need as much community support as possible, while it's not my sim of choice I still fly it once or so a week it has great potential We need to get out of this mindset that "I'll buy V4 64bit it when most of my addons are compatible" If 3rd party developers drop support for 32bit platforms and there is no substantial market base after the first wave of V4 addons make it to market that could be detrimental to some 3rd party companies In short and I say it with respect for the community, get off the fence and buy V4 even if it is just going to sit on your hard drive for the next 6 months and supply a solid market base for the community to thrive

As I often suggested in posts like this. I wish PMDG would consider selling the product base code and textures/model to a trusted partner such as aerosoft so they could perhaps redo some of the vc and update it to 64bit ,we in the community would always know it was an original PMDG aircraft, Also as well as initial sale Of the code PMDG could get a percentage of each sale. Support would have to be handled by whoever adopted the product I know people will say it might be giving away trade secrets but it's an old product. Long shot....I know

The update went great ( Well it says im up to date ) and had no problems just one question I first removed P3D V3 program through the add/remove in control panel I removed my V3 version of the QOTHSii before installing the P3DV4 version When i ran the update this evening it found the old PMDG floder in the P3D V3 root folder on my hard drive as i could see it on the command prompt on screen Is it safe now to delete my PMDG contents from the V3 folder as there is no V3 sim to run? Im afraid in case i stir a hornets nest with corrupted files or activation errors when i have my sim running near perfection

I missed the news about Flightbeam dropping Coutl, That is fantastic news i'm going to do some research on it now, but anyone have any quick facts on the subject, is NZAA and KPDX going to be the first without the engine or are there airports already released. Thanks as always Jim. Unfortunately my sim time is severly limted so getting these CTD on the rare Sunday i have free is extra frustrating if it continues i may just delete My Traffic i only have it set to 10% anyway for a little bit of eye candy Again thanks for your help

Anyone else a little curious why Pete thinks V4 was rushed, it has cast a slight shadow of doubt in my mind. Still going to buy it but makes me wonder....

No its not new, Aerosoft having being previewing it for a while now its only very basic and designed to get children into the passion of flight in general and flight simulation.There isn't anything in this sim that will interest 99.9% of us here on AVSIM, but it may well bring a fresh batch of kids and young people into the genre. Who knows in ten years time they could be on AVSIM looking for tips on P3D V7 and X-plane 14 asking when 128bit will be available Kudos to Aerosoft for making way for the next generation to get started at a young age

Hi Krister Siro is one Company in Ireland rolling out Fiber to the home there website is http://siro.ie/roll-out/ you might get some useful info. There advertising speeds of 1GBs, There not in my area yet so i cant say about prices but i am currently being charged €55 a month for fiber to the local exchange, which is advertised as 100mb but in reality is 30/40mb due to copper wire from exchange to my house, Phone, line rental, service and modem is included in that price.

Im not familiar with any a380 addons but a quick google search makes me believe you are using wilco a380 v2, most of the suggetions online are to run FSX as administrator,which is always a good place to start. just right click on your FSX logo and click run as administrator If its still not working check out the Wilco forum for help. Now i'm rightly confused thanks Ron I have just rolled back my driver to 376.33 because i had two OOM in my last two fights and seen online it was from VAS leak in 378.66 now i'm not sure what to do. I reckon i have a weekend of flight OOM - rollback driver - flight OOM - update driver - flight - smash screen ( or move to x-plane full time )

YUP just hand flew around KMCO its late here so not a full flight Incredible cant wait for a full flight FPS are amazing also
